The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol released its full subpoena to former President Trump, detailing 19 areas of inquiry it wishes to discuss with the former president and asking him to appear for a deposition on Nov. 14.
“As demonstrated in our hearings, we have assembled overwhelming evidence, including from dozens of your former appointees and staff, that you personally orchestrated and oversaw a multi-part effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election and to obstruct the peaceful transition of power,” Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and Vice Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) wrote in the letter accompanying the subpoena.

I don’t see it that way. The Rats are not going to die, they may go down for a bit, then come back. Everything the Rats do is a strategic moving of the goal posts. They push the envelope, create a new precedent. That’s the difference between progressives and conservatives. They don’t want to conserve anything, they want to destroy and rebuild.
So this move, just means that when they are in power again, they wont give one s**t about eliminating the filibuster, or packing the court, or..., or ...
That is just how the operate.
And don’t forget, “what difference does it make?” Imagine the reaction of Liz and everyone, if Trump were to say something like that.

Bannon was sentenced, but the judge is holding up his presenting himself for incarceration until all of his appeals are over.
Hopefully, the conviction will be overturned just simply based on the fact that this sham committee was illegitimate.
They absolutely do know what they’re doing, and a vast majority of conservative will just wet themselves and let it happen unpunished.
Would love it if Trump would show up for his “trial” with a copy of the Committee’s charges, and when asked to testify, stand up and rip the copy to Peelousy pieces.

McCarthy could end it today by tossing all of the Republicans on the committee from all assignments.
And Gore back in 2020. Remember hanging chads? There are a number of instances where democrats challenged result. Stacey Abrams in Georgia is another one.
This is will, or should, backfire on these morons if Trump and his lawyers use common sense. Instead of yakking, put together a VIDEO montage of democrats doing what they are accusing Trump of doing.

but if he wants, he could use this idiocy as a great PR prop... just rent a toilet (without enclosure) and place it in front of a nice pretty backdrop of the congressional building (or committee meeting room) and flush it down the toilet with tv recording cameras rolling

Liz Cheney is seeking revenge, not just against Trump, but against all the Republicans. She lost and now she is going full scorched earth. I imagine we will see two things happen:
1) The democrats, with numbers dwindling and real domestic and Interational crises on their hands (shortages, stagflation, recession, war, immigration) will continue their craziness up to the election to try and buy votes. Student loans, the border, abortion, Ukraine, etc is all a sham to win short term independent and newly departed democrat votes. I expect full blown craziness the next 3 weeks.... and don’t forget the October Surprise!
2) Liz Cheney, who has no place left in her party, and totally set on revenge, will likely do everything in her power to destroy the Republican party (as she sees it... Trump). She has nothing to lose here because Republicans hate her. In getting revenge, she elevates herself with the democrats and opens up opportunity for herself. This will continue until she is out of office, no matter how unpopular the subpoena and raid of Trump were and are, no matter how futile any evidence acquired is, no matter how bad the democrats lose congress.
He will never be allowed to speak freely. He will be interrupted and shut down the moment he starts.
