In a news release put out Monday, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced the discovery of 75 people who voted twice in the 2020 election.
Those cases have been turned over to the Ohio attorney general and county prosecutors.
In each case, Sec. LaRose is accusing the individuals of voting in Ohio as well as another state.
The investigation included people who also cast ballots in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
“The only way to strengthen the confidence of the voters is by working every day to earn their trust,” Sec. LaRose said. “Ohioans should know if you violate election law, we’ll catch you. Every vote matters.”
According to the report, this makes 630 referrals Sec. LaRose’s office has made to prosecutors for voter fraud of some type, although not all 630 are from the 2020 election.
“These include non-citizen registration and voting, individuals who vote twice, as well as individuals who vote on behalf of a deceased individual,” the news release explained.

I’ll bet many of these 75 people legally qualified to vote in both states — by casting an early vote in one state, then moving to the other.
This is the low hanging fruit.
Double dippers are a problem, but they’re not stealing landslides.
“But there was NO fraud. None. It was the cleanest election in history.” All of these statements have been made by the media. Verbatim.
True. It’s the low hanging fruit because it’s the easiest to document and prove.
mighty slow investigation
This is what happens when you have early voting combined with mail-in ballots.

Election time is snowbird time in the warm states.
I’m not sure of the answers or how to organize voting in today’s
mobile society. I’m not sure what documents/items a person has
that names the home base, etc.
A person could easily have a couple of locations as home base with
varying employment occupations in the same state or different states.
Have a nice day..
So...75 cases out of 5.8 million votes cast? How many Democrats and how many Republicans?
And it’s a bone to throw to folks rightly concerned about vote fraud.
Meanwhile, RCV and RCV-enabled voting machines remain is use.
If no prosecution, them more of the same next time.
And NOTHING will be done about it.
The names need to be released. We already know nothing will happen to them in the courts. Name them and shame at the very least.

I agree. Even though I am doing mail-in voting myself, I think it should be eliminated.
However, not every person who voted twice may actually be the culprit. In fact, many of them probably had their mailed ballots stolen before they arrived at their residence (one of the many reasons I oppose mail in voting) and then showed up at the polling place to vote instead.
Correct, on that last.
For anecdotal proof, we have a friend stopping by and spending the night on 10/29 on her way from MN to FL. We’re in GA.
Hey, there was no election fraud in 2020. Just ask all those dead people who voted if they were victims of voter suppression.
In Ohio, from USA Today: “ CINCINNATI — Calling her a common criminal who abused her authority as a poll worker, a judge Wednesday sent a Cincinnati woman to prison for five years following her illegal voting conviction.
In a case watched around the country, Melowese Richardson was a Hamilton County poll worker from 1998 until her arrest earlier this year ( 2013 )when she was charged with eight counts of illegal voting. In May, she accepted a plea deal and was convicted of four counts in exchange for the other four being dismissed.
“This is not a little thing. It’s not a minor thing. This is what our country’s based on — free elections,” Judge Robert Ruehlman of Hamilton County Common Pleas Court told Richardson, chastizing her for violating the principle of one person, one vote.”
She said she voted multiple times, as many as 6 per year, in 6 voting years.
College students, too. There are hordes of California and New York students who are not technically residents of the states where their universities are located, but their votes are not “needed” in their home blue states. Some may vote twice - others just vote once - illegally - in their school’s state.
Some people would complain if they were hanged with a new rope.
