President Joe Biden's border chief skips White House gatherings, falls asleeps in meetings and badmouths his colleagues, his critics told Politico in a damning report published on Monday.

Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Chris Magnus was charged with caring more about reforming the agency's culture - including charges of racism and violence - instead of addressing the influx of migrants along the southern border.

Magnus also sought to blame other federal agencies for the high number of border crossings, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement. CBP secures the border while ICE is responsible for arresting and detaining undocumented people that cross over.

Sleep well knowing who's in charge of planning for the safe disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Of course, DOE and its predecessors AEC and ERDA have been working on nuclear (or, as Jimmy Carter used to say, nukular) waste disposal since the end of WWII. I know there are folks out there that mean well, but to me
they look like absolute fools doing what this guy is doing.

I grew up about a mile and a half from George Washington
Carver’s home about 3.5 miles West of Diamond Grove, MO.

I used to walk over there and check the place out. It
hits home when you see the place where a Black man was
hung by his thumbs for doing something the master didn’t
like.

Carver grew up in what today’s kids could only imagine, but
someone cared for him, got him an education, and made it
possible for him to study the simple peanut.
