Reasonable People Won't Launch War: One of the Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO’s Twitter followers on Friday quote-tweeted a Reuters story on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) starting nuclear drills with B-52 bombers on Monday.
Responding to him via tweet, Musk suggested no reasonable person would launch a nuclear war.
Russia has the ability to destroy USA & Europe utterly with nuclear missiles in less than 30 minutes & vice versa.
A surprising number of people don’t know this.
Of course, it would be MAD to use them, but it is also MAD to be in this situation at all.

Rewarding Russia’s nuclear blackmail will be catastrophic and guarantee nuclear proliferation. Seeing that it is effective policy every tin pot dictator will nuke up and sooner will later somebody will use them.

I agree. Zelensky is not a world leader concerned about its nuclear safety, IMO.
Also, for all those who question why we should take one side or the other in this war, or why Ukraine is any better than Russia, only one of those countries is implying they might use nuclear weapons against the West, and it ain't Ukraine.

That is actually a good solution. WW II ended with one side completely defeated and helpless. But that probably won’t happen here. Both sides need to save face. Ukraine gets back all the land it recently lost. Russia gets Crimea.
It makes sense. Heck, I just might nominate you for a Nobel Peace Prize.
I just checked out the doomsday clock website, and the people are all in favor of Ukraine.
There is 0% chance that Zelensky and Ukraine nuke anyone, including us. They are absolutely no threat to the U.S. or to our allies. In fact, Ukrainian troops fought beside us in Afghanistan.
Tesla stopped getting the EV subsidies nearly 3 years ago, and they still sell more EV’s than any other car maker, in most countries in the world, including China.

So why would any reasonable person use a nuclear weapon? I’m not including the religious crazies, who think they’re going to Valhalla or wherever if they commit suicide.

Five nuke bombs hitting the USA would end us as a Power. Just five. It would wreck the grid, poison the food supply, wreck the infrastructure and make us a beggar nation. China would be handed the world to rule overnight. Five cities gone would start starvation, violence, a mad max world when criminals gangs would rule. Radiation deaths and a wave of sicknesses sweep the land. That’s with just five big nukes. What nations will rush in to help us? None.
We are not talking about reasonable people, both sides.
In the 1980s, the nuclear war fear propaganda was through the roof.
The establishment seems to have found that global warming fear mongering is much more profitable.
Difference is that nuclear destruction actually is a real threat. Although it didn’t warrant the fear mongering of the 80s, it seems today’s population are mostly ignorant of the concept.
Because Zelensky does NOT have nukes.
You can't nuke anybody if you don't have nukes in the first place.
