The gunmen who shot dead 11 Russian soldiers and wounded 15 at a training camp near the Ukrainian border had their Islamic faith 'insulted' by their commander, as authorities opened a criminal probe into the incident.
RIA said the gunmen, referred to as 'terrorists', were shot dead and Russia's defense ministry said they were from a former Soviet republic, without elaborating.
Independent news ASTRA spoke to one man wounded who alleged the shooters were Muslims from the Central Asian republic of Tajikistan and turned on the group when the commander described Allah as a coward.
The non-Russian shooters, recruited with their victims as part of Russian President Putin's recent call to mobilise more troops to fight, had told their commanding officer 'this is not our war' and demanded they be excused from serving.
The commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Lapin, told all the soldiers in response: 'This is a holy war. "Allah" is a coward if he does not allow you to fight for the country to which you swore an oath.'
The hospitalised source said the statement was met with considerable anger from the Muslims: 'I personally think that this is what hurt the most, the phrase ''Allah is a weakling''. The phrase shocked many people among those standing on the parade ground because we also have Muslims among [our Russian] officers.'
He said the conflict appeared to subside but then exploded again during afternoon training which involved shooting practice.
'They sent us all together to the shooting range, and the Tajiks... deployed their machine guns.
'They had live ammunition and shot our commander, Lt-Colonel Lapin - he died on the spot... they opened fire indiscriminately.'
The source claimed a total of 32 people were killed in the attack - a higher total reported by Russian state news channels.

I guess we get to see if Russia has freedom of religion.
I don’t think this incident should be celebrated in any way. The reasoning seems to be ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ Trouble is, mohommaden nutcases, no matter where they are from, are not the kind of people you can make friends with. They hate Russians and anyone in their way, with the same vigour. For all their faults, the Russians didn’t grandstand about Fort Hood. C’mon UMC, don’t be a groupie
The Russians have “liberated” all “ethnic Russian “ parts ok Ukraine? Au contraire, the Russians haven’t “liberated” Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, or Odesa - all Russian speaking parts of Ukraine. And while they didn’t exactly block NATO membership (there was zero chance of Ukraine being admitted before 2022, ironically it has a better chance now) they did succeed in forcing Sweden and Finland into it and have broken off Armenia and the Central Asian states from Russian overlordship. Good work Putin - this is why I think he’s an American agent. Nobody else could do more damage to Russian national interests.
Then Putin shouldn’t have built his army around the private army of a Chechen jihadi warlord, Mr. Kadyrov. .
Maybe Putin shouldn’t have hired a bunch of Chechen jihadi savages then.

Probably working for the CIA.
Probably not no. There are around 6000 mohomeddans in the U.S armed forces. And growing. So it’s not just a Russkie problem. A percentage of them are sure to exibit signs of SJS and kill their fellow military personnel. The German army now has an Imam. And this kind of shite is going to boomerang. But who listens
I think that the British would more properly refer to this as a "spot of trouble."
Regards,
“There are around 6000 mohomeddans in the U.S armed forces. And growing.”
That may be true. But we don’t actively recruit from terrorist groups and set them up with their own units with their own officers.
Putin does.

The crazy muzzies are here and growing in the US.
They hate infidels.
