Also-—more evidence each year that it is genetic-—Parents need to watch their kids closer medically when it runs in the family.
How long has insulin been out there, how has its costs fluctuated, and why does the price fluctuate so much more in other countries?
If you’re in the medical field is what Walker said about eating right wrong??
We thank you for your “Concern”.
This is important stuff folks. It could also be considered Hugh, and …
Well you know the rest.
Walker 2022👍
Sen. Herschel Walker will never vote with the leftists. Sen. Raphael Warnock will always vote with the leftists. That's all you need to know to decide for whom to vote.
Walker’s workout routine from what I remember is hardcore. Something like 300 pushups, crazy abdominals, and running. Every day. Chew on that.
I watched the debate and that is exactly what he meant. He just got in a rush and left a word out. Context folks. I was pleasantly surprised by his good performance. The deal with whipping out the badge was the only cringe worthy thing to me.
Your agenda is a square peg in a round hole when you use HuffPost as your source to make your point against Herschel Walker.
Walker won going away. Where does that leave Warnock on the POR IQ Scale of intelligence?
You can use the link below to watch the debate and decide who won:

Sorry, but calling B.S. on this.
If for no other reason than that you are perpetuating the unnecessary conflation of the two different types of Diabetes, and the vastly different diet challenges respectively faced by those who suffer from the aforementioned two different types.
Do you dispute the assertion that Walker was conflating the two different types of Diabetes, more than likely out of honest ignorance?
And there is our basic problem. With 2 parties we get 2 candidates, and on 99% of ballots they both suck. Georgia has the choice between an idiot and moron. Pick 1.
its a huffpo hit piece
nothing to see here
the headline of this Huff fake news Post takes walker’s remarks way out of context.
a head line that was buried in the article might more accurately reflect the comment:
“I believe in reducing insulin but at the same time, you gotta eat right. I know many people that’s on insulin. Unless you’re eating right, insulin is doing you no good. So you have to get food prices down and you gotta get gas down so you can go get insulin,” the GOP candidate said
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
imo, walker was making a good point re: the bogus inflation reduction bill (that has done nothing to abate inflation) that warnock was taking credit for to drop insulin costs (remember trump has already done this years ago)
walker basically was saying at this point, what difference does it make on cost of insulin if inflation has driven food & fuel prices so high that you can’t afford to go buy it anyway?
Duly noted.
Canada has enough problems of its own.
True enough. But when it comes to politics nothing compares to U.S. politics. It's amazing. Canada called a snap election in August, I schlepped down to the fire hall to vote in September, and we we're likely done for the next few years. In the U.S. you will have an election in a few weeks and then the next one will begin in earnest literally the next month or two. It's full time for you and endlessly fascinating.
Congratulations for your hard work, perseverance and achievement.
He will be awesome because he isn’t a wokester and he will vote right for the American people.
That should be enough and you can stop badmouthing him because he is the candidate.
“Per the CDC, over 90% of diabetics are Type II. I know quite a few. None of them got that way eating a healthy diet.”
My wife is a a Type I diabetic. We eat very healthy because her life depends upon it. But the healthy diet did not prevent me from becoming a Type II diabetic.
FYI: We are both height/proportionate and exercise every day.
He might actually lower the average IQ which is a hard thing to do!
I can (and have) bought insulin over-the-counter at Walmart for less than the COPAY that my Part D plan’s online pharmacy charges.
I’d to point out to the dietary Karens that my diabetes appeared in my middle 50s despite the fact that I have always hated sugary soft drinks, never ate much candy, cakes or cookies. Meat-and-potatoes guy then and now, at 77 years old.
And BTW, once you are Type 1, you never recover. Claiming to have done so is BS. Nor do Type 2s. Type 2 is a progressive condition which only gets worse as you age.
I’m not convinced that it’s not hereditary. My paternal grandfather (who was rail-thin all his life), two or maybe three of my uncles (both sides of the family), and my brother all became Type 2s later in life.
