‘Trump’s Unelectability Will Be Palpable’: Paul Ryan Says Trump Won’t Win GOP Nomination Again
Dailycaller.com ^ | 10/14/22 | Arjun Singh

President Donald Trump will likely lose the Republican presidential primary race in 2024 and, failing that, the general election should he decide to run again.

“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan stated. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.” Ryan made the comments during an appearance with Kevin Kajiwara, CEO of Teneo, the public affairs consulting firm of which Ryan is vice chairman, at their office in Manhattan.

Ryan also accused Trump of using “fear and intimidation” to maintain political influence over the Republican Party, which he predicted would end poorly. “Whenever you try to do that, it ends the way Hemingway talked about bankruptcy,” he said, “it goes along for a while until it [steeply] drops.”

Ryan said that most Republican candidates were “hurting their own ambition,” by refusing to criticize him. However, he said that Trump’s influence could wane when a critical mass of anti-Trump Republicans emerge, remarking that “as soon as you sort of get the herd mentality going, it’s unstoppable. … Trump’s unelectability will be palpable.”

“The one inexhaustible power in politics in ambition,” Ryan claimed. “You can count on that” to yield a serious challenger to Trump in 2024.

So you will waste a vote...rather than elect the nominee. From the beginning...it wasn’t suppose to be that way.

I own my vote. I will cast it or not however I damn well please. I don't give too much credence to gopee pom pomers anymore.

I thought that pathetic line went out of style after 2008 and 2012.

Thanks, we have an inordinate number of trolls here that likes to spew and forget they aren’t at dimocRATic underground and they tip their hands. They like to spin, spin, spin like a spinning top except it doesn’t work here because even the most clueless genuine Freeper has an IQ 100 points higher than any DU troll.

I really miss the ZOT KITTY.

In my humble opinion it will be a Trump DeSantis ticket in 24 then DeSantis for two terms.

You are getting way ahead of yourself.

If someone has presidential aspirations, then serving as VP is not necessarily a good career move. Too many of these types are insufferable losers and party insiders who can never win a nomination on their own.

I correctly predicted a Trump/Hillary match up with Trump winning the presidency a year before Trump came down that escalater in Trump Tower announcing his intention to run.
I also said over a year ago that yes, it would be a Trump/DeSantis ticket in 2024, with them winning, Trump having his second term and DeSantis taking over and winning 2 consecutive terms. 12 years of non Rino GOP governance. There, I’ve said it....for posterity’s sake.

Sorry, I mean this respectfully, but you’re stuck on stupid if you believe the RNC has the cajones or the ability to keep DJT off any state ballots. The GOPe is circling the drain and by 2024 if they are still around, they will be nothing more than a pesky gnat. Notice what happened to most of the traitorous impeachment voters?

We the People, at least the conservatives, are fed up and have become a constituency of Howard Beale action figures and we’re taking the rubbish out. It’s a very exciting thing to witness.

I don’t much like Trump, but he’s almost the only one out there who is pushing the right policies.

What do you call Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Mitch McConnell, Mike Pence, Lindsay Graham, and company at the bottom of the ocean?

I don’t even need to say it... everyone here knows. And everyone also knows that I am holding back... A GOOD START!

Nonsense. DeSantis has the emotional wherewithal to not respond to traps.

If Trump is in the ticket I will vote for him. I pray DeSantis does not join him there.

If Trump is not on the ticket I will vote for DeSantis.

I prefer DeSantis.

And I know a lot of Trump people who think think the same.

“So says the RINO who just yesterday backed DeSantis.”

So Ryan has joined the ranks of those seeking to drive a wedge between Trump and DeSantis.

Nice Try.

Paul, was that you that had Fox call AZ long before it was mathematically plausible to do so?

Was Paul in on the steal? This guy is a punk.

Watch what happens when the left decides to indict Mr. Trump as I believe they will. He will fight it (as he should) but the RNC will take a step back in order to let the legal games play out. This will take many months and the Republican party will have “no choice but to leave him off while this shadow remains”

If he is on those ballots, he will win and barring a bloodbath at the convention will attain the nomination. This is something that the Republican party DOES NOT WANT!!! You can call them GOPe, RINOs, Country Club Republicans, Assistant Democrats, whatever you like but the fact remains, they are the Republican party and they do not want Donald J. Trump to be their nominee.

Nothing is more “palpable” than your ignorance, Paulie.

I have a feeling he lost some influence at Fox. They seem to be recovering from the Leftward Lurch and are telling the truth more.

Incidentally, I read that Rupert and older son Lachlan were republicans???

Paul Ryan needs to stay hidden behind his 10’ fences surrounding his property-—

Not even the Wisconsin Governor’s Mansion has those kinds of fences.

Ryan is a back stabbing, sniveling idiot.

Truly an idiot. Or just trying to gaslight folks. They haven’t done anything except make him stronger. They’ve thrown everything at him they could and here he is openly mocking his enemies…. Out campaigning for people…. His endorsement record is unmatched…. And of course, unlike most folks in DC he has a record of success these lifelong hacks can only dream of.
