show trial gonna show trial
Pissed off voters tend to vote more than happy voters.
I'm not the least bit sure they will step down from their committees after 11/8/22. They\ll claim the election was hacked by Russia or something similar. Every intelligence agency will agree. Hold on to your hat.
Their biggest fear is that he will agree to testify - IN PUBLIC
That, I don’t know.
naaa, i’m good...
Next they'll subpoena Elvis, anything for attention.
Trump could ask:
“Have you stopped stealing elections?”
But it’s not political, just because we’re about three weeks out from the election . . .
Of course it will- see post #33
Well, Liz Cheney and all of them are still members of Congress until Jan. 3, 2023. So they could continue this committee until that date, regardless of election results.
Though after the election would not have any impact on changing voters minds, they still might keep it up. Liz still is auditioning for a job with MSNBC, so she might want to keep at it.
It would be unwise but certainly entertaining if Trump testified live. I would pay money to see that.
The final act of this absurdity of a committee will be to have the FBI arrest Trump and shackle him for “contempt of Congress”. This will occur just before the election to gin up the Rat base.
Sorry, Congress-critters, but the people you’re supposed to be helping are so broke they can’t pay attention. See ya in the midterms!
Trump should use this as a commercial, and say with a smile:
“Miss me yet?”
It would be the biggest drama in Washington since the Watergate hearings, if Trump were to testify live before the committee.
With Inflation roaring and gas prices increasing again they are tossing anything out hoping it will stick as the Mid Terms will not be kind to them.
What if you held a Soviet-style show trial, and no one gave a rat’s a$$?
Zzzzz
