Social Security beneficiaries can expect an 8.7% boost to benefits in 2023, the Social Security Administration announced on Thursday.
The increase tops the 5.9% cost-of-living adjustment for 2022, which at the time was the highest in four decades.

I live in an apartment community for 55 and over. They have held off from renewing leases because they plan to take our COLA in January.
So this is no big deal for helping with my costs of living.

No. Actually Medicare goes down five bucks. So not only are you gonna keep the entire race gain five bucks as well.

I actually expected something in that neighborhood. Maybe 10%. But then again, I’m a starry-eyed dreamer.

They kept saying 10% early on....many, many times...let’s face it...it’s rigged...they only count certain categories to get the result they want.
They won’t tell us until AFTER the election how much Medicare is going up!!
It’s not going up...actually going down by about $5.
