A third of the German Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers used by the Ukrainian army are already in need of maintenance and are to be sent for repair in Slovakia, German newspaper Spiegel reports, citing its own sources.
According to the publication, from the very beginning, the Ukrainian military tried to fire special ammunition at too great a distance.

Absolutely no one wants to know about what you strapped on with the boys.
Sounds delicious.
How do you feel about Milley, McMaster, General Rachael Levine?
Yep, low intelligence of the expectedly low intelligence men has a lot to do with such impression.
I have to question the idea of firing at too long a distance. Ammunition is either designed for the weapon or not. Custom loads aren’t entered into the shells. Firing at a closer or farther distance makes zero difference to the weapon.
Shells, such as mortars, that have variable range settings all work within the parameters of the mortar tube.
This is just more evidence that Ukraine is now a total colony of NATO and the USA. They depend on the West for everything - financial aid is a majority of their GDP, and all their government budget. They rely nearly completely on NATO/US intelligence, and totally on NATO weapons.
It means their generals are subordinate to NATO/US generals, and their politicians subordinate to NATO/US demands. Ukraine soldiers are cannon-fodder for NATO/US policy.
Sadly, Zelensky/Ukraine have become Ngo Dinh Diem in Vietnam, Al-Maliki in Iraq or Ashraf Ghani in Afghanistan.
When Western political will ends, Ukraine will be a hollow shell that will simply disappear.
US Neocons and corrupt politicians have forced Ukraine into every stupid, reactionary move which is contrary to what might have guaranteed Ukraine independence and some independent development.
Actually I imagine you are a lot like General Rachael Levine.
Doh!
A+
And you be sure that NATO is taking notes. This is probably why The US send them more long range systems. And we haven’t sent them the really good stuff.
That would make sense, but it is clearly beyond their current capabilities…or they would have been making a mess of Western Ukraine.
Is it written somewhere that actors can’t be Presidents. If so…I have some bad news for you.
Seems so.
And Russia is getting their asses handed to them with our “small stuff.” We don’t provide them with our largest guns, our long range drones, or our long range HIMARS.
Our Army leaders must be salivating at the effectiveness of our “second tier” munitions.
Sorry, I amend my statement.
NATO, and particularly the USA, have guaranteed failure of Ukraine, ala Duong Van Minh - who was installed after Ngo Dinh Diem was assassinated with the support of the USA
Sorry, I just picture you as a clown in a dress.
Your sort are the ones always ranting about goblohomos in this conflict. Can you explain what Putin invading Ukraine has to do with peoples homosexual inclinations? I am confident that a free Ukraine will not turn me gay. Are you?
Why should we? If you read the article they have a proclivity to load and fire the wrong ammunition, causing damage. Besides, "we" don't much care about them. It's who "we" are.
It turns out that the biggest supplier of equipment to Ukraine is Russia!
They left a lot of useful equipment during the retreat(s).
Ukraine is fixing and repainting them to be put into good use.
I didn’t see the comment in question. I know I did things I would never do now.
