“Look like logs...just like they’ve always been described.”
A few years short of half a century ago, a friend and I were snorkeling in a lake in FL, when we swam up to a small log +/- 3’-4’ long on the lake shore, I on the left of the log, and my friend on the right. We spit out the mouthpieces of our snorkels, moved our face masks to our foreheads, looked at each other, and spooked the “log”, which turned around and bolted away in a shot. We remarked upon that in colorful language and got out of the water. Never dove that lake again.

Harvested some sweet peppers yesterday with more on the way.
Lots of Cayene peppers but they can wait until frost since they will be dried anyway.
Only remaining tomatoes are on the deck planter boxes...short season.
