Our commander in chief has yet to answer any of these questions. I believe it’s irresponsible to spend $12 billion – and a cumulative total of at least $54 billion – to fund an effort that has no defined end.
Zelenskyy recently said that Ukraine would recapture Crimea by any means necessary. But it’s important to note that Crimea – which has been recognized by Russia as part of Russia since 2014 – has far more historical and cultural ties to Russia than it does to Ukraine. Putin would undoubtedly view offensive action in Crimea as an act of war in Russian territory.

He’ll keep funding it as long as he can scrape off his 10%.
There’s a strategy?
Sure they can.
There was a 3% tax on long-distance phone calls to fund the Spanish-American War.
It was finally eliminated in 2006.

The strategy is the same as the US strategy vis-a-vis the Russians in Afghanistan and the Russian strategy vis-a-vis the US in North Korea and North Vietnam - fund the locals until the Great Power gets tired of the cost and leaves. What the writer really means is - how do I help the Russians win without sounding like I’m giving Puttolini’s legions a hand?
Anybody with half a brain can see this is a war against Russia and the Ukrainians are fighting it for us.
It is interesting to see how weak Russia really is.
All they have are Nukes and that is it.
End game is simple.
Reduce them to the status of Venezuela;
Lots of resources, Banana republic.
China takes back their part of E. Asia and
then we have peace.
For a while.
If the Republicans win the House and/or Senate this November, I hope conservatives start pressuring them to not just mindlessly rubber-stamp every dollar for Ukraine Joe Biden demands.
I’m laughing at the idea of Biden having a strategy for anything, much less one for ending the war. Also funny is the idea of Biden telling us things. End of quote! REPEAT THE LINE!
His strategy is to nuke Russia and declare himself Magog.
“Our commander in chief has yet to answer any of these questions.”
That’s because he’s not the commander and he doesn’t know the answers because the commander hasn’t told him yet, whoever that is.

What end?
Agree. Putin’s cheerleaders need to tell him to go home.
The situation is complicated. Especially because Biden gave Putin the green light to Putin to invade with the “minor incursion” agreement. Also, Hunter Biden got more cash in bribes from the Moscow mayor than from Burisma. Hopefully when the war is over, we’ll really find out about the original green light deal between Biden and Putin.
You're harshing my zeep, man! Come on!
Wanna bet?
There was a 3% tax on long-distance phone calls to fund the Spanish-American War.
It was finally eliminated in 2006.
A govt. subsidy was paid to makers of lines/ropes for sailing ships well into the 20th century too.
There is no end to corrupt government idiocy.
The point isn’t to help Ukraine or end the war the point is to launder money. Why would it end? Even if Russia just says “ah forget it” and leaves , we will still be shoveling money into that backwards hellhole forever to “rebuild it” which will never happen because the country is too corrupt anyways.
Why does headline assume Biden favors the war ending?
“Putin would undoubtedly view offensive action in Crimea as an act of war in Russian territory.”
Umm, someone forgot about the attacks that already happened at the Crimean air base and bridge?
End the war funding?
Unlikely.
Congress gets 10% off the top, via direct deposit, to their secret Ukraine bank accounts.
