It’s not just the crime that’s chasing people out of new york.

It’s the high cost of living (among the highest in the nation), the lack of personal freedoms (in a ranking of all 50 states, Cato institute ranks new york number 50, the worst in the whole nation), the high taxes, the existing and ever increasing soul and freedom crushing regulations, etc.
