Didn’t want to be the first to point out the elephant in the living room, but I agree with you - his branded was fatally destroyed by his jaunt to Mexico while people here were freezing to death. Best to accept it, take a federal judgeship after his term (if he can get confirmed) and be out of the way, once and for all.
