Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) policy of shipping migrants from the border to left-leaning jurisdictions has been a winner in the GOP — but it could cost him at home with key Latino constituencies.
The push by GOP governors to transport migrants from border states comes amid a surge in migration from Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, a trio of Latin American countries with left-leaning authoritarian leaders.

Governor DeSantis has a lot more on his plate these days than worrying about what The Hill has to say. If editors at The Hill had two brain cells clicking, they would realize how fortunate the illegal aliens are that they were transported out of Florida before Hurricane Ian flattened much of the Sunshine State. I'll bet the illegal aliens didn't miss this fact.

LOL!
The only support he lost was The Hill.
Keep treating every latino like a dipshit and they might not like it.
Democraps own it all.

Shouldn’t the headline be “We Hope DeSantis’s Migrant Flights Will Cost Him Latino Support at Home”?

If the Left thinks sending Biden migrants to Democrat strongholds was a bad political tactic, they ought to interview Beto O’Rourke.

The Hill has gone full tilt left. When they got rid of comments, I got rid of The Hill.

It won’t.
Most Hispanics (”latinos” 🙄) who support him hate illegal immigration.

“They talk with her hands or point or whatever to communicate.”
When I worked in South America, that was me! I learned about 300 nouns, a handful of verbs and the grammar mystified me. So I sounded like an idiot.
It gave me a new appreciation for non-English speakers arriving here and taught me a lot more patience.

Only the illegal alien support will be lost. Their vote may be enough to hurt him.

My experience has been that Hispanics hate illegal entry, they have to compete with the fact illegals will work for less pay, don’t have insurance which lowers bidding on projects, etc. Also bad acts by illegals could be misconstrued as bad acts by Hispanic Americans who were there from the founding of Florida.

Why are we always supposed to assume that minorities have a special morally valid interest in law breaking?
