Such “quick” studies have a margin of error in the range of 25%.

What was the climate change from?
Study just published demonstrated NO effect on IR absorption from increased CO2 levels. Yes, this was a peer reviewed article that demonstrated the 100-200 part per million increase in CO2 had no effect on IR absorption (presumed mechanism of greenhouse effect)
So, climate change.....Sure....from CO2.....Not from ‘Greenhouse gasses’.

If I say it was more like “20%” more, can I get paid?

BS. An unprovable "statistic" yet utterly made-up of whole cloth. Actual science isn't so neat and precise to deliver round numbers like 10%
If this had been an actual scientific result, the percentage would look more like 9.67372%

“The real storm was 10% wetter than the storm that might have been," That is not a scientific statement. Might, may have, could, would, should are NOT terms used in science reports.

Pulling numbers out of thin air again, I see.
“10” is such a round number. Conveniently round.

My study just found that a lack of proper skepticism and basic scientific training has added 90% more BS to news articles.

Surprised they didn’t claim that most of the damage was caused by Trump policies!

A quick study by two scientists calculates that climate change made Hurricane Ian 10% rainier than it would have been if there were no such thing as global warming. Climate change added at least 10% more rain to Hurricane Ian, a study prepared immediately after the storm shows.I also did a similar study and found that the rain was 10% less and not more. I found the data the same place those two scientists did. I pulled the numbers out of my ass and said they did not stink. /S

Ten percent?
Rainfall inflation; and much lower than energy inflation.

This study sounds like something written by a professor that attended some college somewhere.

"Flash study. Quick study. Not peer reviewed." In other words, "We just made this up."
"In a world without greenhouse gases..."
Do these morons realize that water vapor is the most abundant greenhouse gas and without these gases life would not exist on earth?
