Even though J. Edgar Hoover was a poofter himself, he refused to allow the FBI to hire poofters because he knew sexual deviants always put their sexual perversions first and foremost.

Was there ever any actual proof about Hoover’s sexuality? Some writers and scholars have seemed to have conflicting opinions about it.
