NATO on Thursday said leaks from the Nord Stream gas pipelines appeared to be sabotage and vowed a “determined response” to any attacks on critical infrastructure.
“All currently available information indicates that this is the result of deliberate, reckless and irresponsible acts of sabotage,” the Western military alliance said in a statement.
“These leaks are causing risks to shipping and substantial environmental damage. We support the investigations underway to determine the origin of the damage,” it said.

PUTLOS, Germany - Exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS), the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region, has been underway since June 6, 2021.
For the first time this annual exercise, explosive ordnance and mine countermeasure units from the Navy and the Marine Corps integrated into a NATO multi-national exercise using cutting- edge technology and experimental equipment to increase the effectiveness of mine countermeasure.
[I an’t wait to see the results of the “investigation” of the NS1 & 2 pipeline sabotage operations. IMHO, the same folks who were tasked to perform the sabotage will be tasked with the investigation.]

Instead of finding war mines, they can find a well-charted pipeline a lot easier, and be modified to blow it up. Just spitballing, but I believe these are the tracks to investigate.

I don’t claim to know who did it, but they are playing dangerous games.
The MH-60S will utilize the BAE Systems Archerfish remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to seek out and destroy naval mines from the air.
Selected as a concept in 2003 by the Navy as part of the Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS) program and developed since 2007, the Archerfish is dropped into the water from its launch cradle, where its human operator remotely guides it down towards the mine using a fiber optics communications cable that leads back up to the helicopter. Using sonar and low-light video, it locates the mine, and is then instructed to shoot a shaped charge explosive to detonate it.
BAE was awarded a contract to build and deliver the ROVs in April 2016.
[The USN is now up to the Mark 18 Mod 2 “Kingfish.” ROV is out of use, now it’s UUV.]

The US Navy can drop UUVs from Sea Hawk helicopters to find and “neutralize” undersea mines by “detonation.”

That being said, the next question is: will Russia retaliate and if so, how? There have been some people, such as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, who have speculated that NATO might drop an atomic bomb on a Ukrainian target and blame it on Russia. However, such an attempt would have an American or British "signature". A large minority of Americans and probably citizens of other Western nations mistrust anything stated by their governments. The COVID lockdowns and the "vaccines" alienated a considerable portion of the population. In this country, we had an "in your face" steal of the 2020 election, with the 24-7 gaslighting by the entire MSM spectrum, from Fox to Axios.
Putin's most recent rant against Western decadence is aimed directly at the skeptical minority in the NATO countries. Many Western conservatives have the attitude, better Putin than Biden. In the 1930s, French rightists had a saying, better Hitler than Blum. We know what happened to France in 1940.
