A Wisconsin judge on Tuesday told the man accused of killing six people at last year’s Waukesha Christmas parade to “stop playing games” as the suspect voiced his intent to defend himself at trial.
Darrel Brooks, 40, is facing 77 charges — including six counts of first-degree intentional homicide — for the horrific vehicular attack at the Wisconsin city’s annual parade in Nov. 2021. He’s pleaded not guilty to the charges.
“I would like to represent myself,” Brooks told Waukesha County Judge Jennifer Dorow.
Dorow asked Brooks what that means to him, to which he replied “Again, because I’ve already said it on the record, to represent myself as a sovereign citizen.”
However, Brooks said several times that he didn’t understand “the nature and cause for the charges,” WISN reported, prompting the judge to call for a recess.

Probably because Biden has put a target on the back of everyone on the right as an enemy of the state. So there is natural confusion as to why there would be a problem killing anyone on the right.
Our justice system has become a farce. Put him in a cage, like they do in Russia, ad get on with the trial.
His best option at this point is to so thoroughly screw up the process that it has to start over or get moved.
I suggest they put him in a holding cell over the weekend with a package of single-edge razor blades and a fifth of vodka.
He was black and ran over some white people so he will probably get a few hours of community service
I’ve had to deal with sovereign citizen defendants a number of times. Every one of them thought he was way too clever and ended up shooting himself in the cot. They get long, nonsensical pleadings of the Internet and then can’t explain what they mean.

The court should be in every way professional and deferential to the accused. Live stream the trial, make it public and as transparent as possible and let the law, the proper and correct application of the law show him for the murderer he is. When he is Found him guilty, sentence him to life in the Gen Pop of a super max prison.
What a farce. Wisconsin “has had no death penalty for over 150 years, longer than any other state in the country.” (According to my Duck-Duck search).
I’d say you can’t spit in the face of justice forever. But Wisconsin has been doing it for 150 years, and that piece of human filth who is guilty of this crime for his entire life. And the farce continues. While the innocent are slaughtered.

Didn’t he recently scream at the judge because the deputies had to wake him up. The judge had him removed from the courtroom
So let him represent himself.
It won’t change the verdict. It may bring it faster
then have a public hanging.
