This needs to be nipped in the financial bud before it ever takes root. Every ethnicity has suffered at one time or another. It would be impossible to pay it all back.
Such a movement would only sow division and resentment along with a false sense of entitlement.

I never owned slaves, and no-one in my family did either. My great great grandfather and his two brothers fought to free slaves in the civil war. He came home without his brothers and an arm.
When I was in graduate school I could not get a teaching assistant or lab assistant position because I was not black or a foreign student.
