Good point. Interesting to make a list of those that have not been investigated. Pence is obviously part of the “club”.
When I think of Mike Pence, I don’t think of future President. I think of Benedict Arnold, Judas Iscariot, Brutus, ect.

Trump interviewed my congresswoman, Cathy McMorris Rogers for VP spot. Her office is wonderful about answering questions and concerns of constituents. She would have been marvelous VP. Trump’s biggest mistake.
Actually he stated publicly he’d consider testifying at the J6 clown show.....UNSOLICITED mind you.
To me that’s a signal to those idiots that he’ll do it if they ask.

A presidential candidate doesn’t select his running mate. They are nominated together but the VP candidates are selected by the political party leadership.

Plus he doesn't have the balls required for the job. And he knows it.
I know some Freepers were anti Pence from the get go but I gave him props for sticking with Trump when that tape of Trump surfaced during the 2016 campaign. The rest of the term he was so so. Not great not awful but it all collapsed in the 2020 election aftermath. Since then he’s revealed himself and nothing good has come out since. It’s hard to keep track of all the backstabbers Trump had and we were often wondering who on his staff or cabinet was betraying him. There may have been more than one but for now Pence seems to have graduated to the biggest suspect.
Whether Pence admits it to himself or not, he will never be president. I don’t see any point in eternally bashing the guy. He wasn’t going to make Trump president two months after the election, and shouldn’t be made the fall guy for all the complicated reasons why Trump isn’t president now. Whatever could have happened in the count on Jan 6 (which wouldn’t have been much) didn’t happen because of all the messy stuff in the Capitol building.
