The Russian front is falling apart.
Ukrainian troops are confidently pushing the invaders from the Oskil River, which became possible after the liberation of the Izyum direction. Lyman is expected to be retaken soon.
War correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov announced this on his Telegram blog.
"The situation on the Lyman-Oskol front for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is becoming more and more favorable," the journalist said.
He clarified that there are already three Ukrainian bridgeheads on the left bank of the Oskil, from where the counteroffensive is coming. One of them is in the area of liberated Kupyansk.
Miroshnikov also announces the imminent liberation of the city of Lyman — a key defense center of the Russian invaders, from which the attack on Slovyansk was earlier launched.
"In the Lyman area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are bringing the operation to its logical conclusion and the liberation of our land. A little more patience, everything will be fine," the military commander said.
It is noteworthy that Russian propaganda channels also write about the "critical situation" in the Lyman region. Obviously, it will not be possible to keep the settlement of the Russian army.
...
"The use by the enemy in such a key area as Drobysheve of low-combat units suggests that the Russian army is still unable to stabilize the front and does not have combat-ready operational reserves. The Ukrainian troops do not allow the Russians to stabilize the Oskil Front, and retain the tactical initiative. Obviously, we even underestimate the depth of the crisis in the combat capability of the RF Armed Forces. The mobilization announced by the Russian Federation is necessary not for an offensive, but for saving a collapsing front. They want to plug the holes with freshly mobilized meat," says editor-in-chief of Censor.NET Yuri Butusov.

Ukraine ping!
Well if Putin loses a 100K or 500K in Ukraine, he will cause a crisis in the government.
From a contact in Russia:
On mobilization in Russia
One of my friends got mobilized recently. He’s a mobile gamedev and a conscientious objector. So he tried to flee his city (Petrozavodsk) and drove to the nearest border (of Kazakhstan) but the seemingly endless traffic jam made him return in despair.
That’s how they caught him and transported to the nearest voenkomat. He couldn’t believe his eyes. There was a WW2 veteran standing in line as a volunteer. Soldiers were given out vatniks sheathed in camo print. Boots with so many holes that they looked like crocs and kits with personal hygiene items that included condoms. Yes, condoms. A Russian analogue of Durex - Gusarskiye so naturally they were also peppered w/ holes - a point of hearty laughter of everyone involved
They were to be transported in cargo section of soviet plane to Ukraine.
They were allowed to “relax” for a few hours before that - i.e get drunk/high out of their minds and listen to the instructions of the Politruk who riled them up by talking about beauty of the Ukrainian woman and prosperity of the average household.
The tattered drunks of all ages were all ears. “Listen up, scum. You’re about to fly first class to a western democracy. So do what you do best: destroy their livelihoods and make them pay for being better than us. We will defile their land because we can. First and foremost, we are Eurasianists. We’ve learned from the best: Mongols, fascists and communists. You don’t need any training - it’s in your blood. No need for fancy gear either. The strongest will survive and bring his enemies to heel” as my friend later recalled speech.
So obviously he was looking for a way to escape this. He stood up and said “I’m gay”. A crazed mob jumped him and beat him bloody. But he smiled the whole time, ignoring broken ribs and bruises. Nevertheless he persisted. He’s going to prison for life for his orientation instead.

It’s best to boast after taking off the armor. Not when your still putting it on…
I think I’ve seen this post many times today.

Cities that took RuZZia months to conquer are falling in days.
And the thread ended with the crown jewel for the woke, lefty crowd, the person was supposedly beaten up for beimg “gay”, but no evidence to support this or anything else in the rest of the thread there.
I’m surprised the NYT, CNN, or WaPo didn’t report this.
Where is the substantive evidence for this?
History books will be written about the bravery of the Ukrainian people.
I don’t like Zelensky and I don’t like Putin.
I don’t understand why this came to a shooting war.
I worry about what Ukraine will be like in the future.
It’s noble to defend your country, but what if your enemy’s goal isn’t the taking of land, but the destruction of a generation of young men?
Why do we not hear of peace ideas from Western countries?
“Cities that took RuZZia months to conquer are falling in days.”
That’s why the scrubs being pulled into the war will face a brutal fate. The Ukrainians are far superior in warfighter and weaponry quality, and that’s showing with every square mile the wrest back from the Russians.
Before we all rush to answer your questions and waste our valuable time to enlighten you, please tell us why you don’t like Zelensky and why you don’t like Putin? And while you worry about what Ukraine will be in the future, aren’t you worried about what Russia is now?
You asked “Why do we not hear of peace ideas from western countries?”

Sounds like something someone said to and about Poland in 1939.
Main Russian formation facing the Ukrainians on the Northeast front - that was Izyum/Balakliya, now Lyman region, is the 1st Guards Tank Army. It includes units like the 4th Guards Tank Division and the 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division (a Russian Army is the same as a western Corps).
That WAS one of Russia’s best units. It was stationed in the Moscow region prewar. It was committed to the direct attack on Kiev via Belorussia, and then to the Izyum offensive. It seems now to be a shadow of its former self after having been routed twice, and seems to be on its way to being routed again.
Putin and Zelensky are both dictators.
The fighting is on Ukrainian soil.
Which is why the draftees pulled to the front are in for a harrowing time. The Ukes routed Russia’s best and will roll through these unmotivated, poorly trained, poorly equipped conscripts like a hot knife through room-temp butter.
I watched a documentary yesterday about WWII.
I believe England and ‘France were obligated to fight anyone invading Poland.
They fought against Germany, but Russia also invaded Poland.
Why didn’t England and France declare war against Russia?
