The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

The eye is out in the Atlantic, back over warmer waters means it will try to pick up wind speed as it aims towards the South Caroline-North Carolina beaches. Looks like it will hit inland well north of my sister on the GA coastline.
She came up north towards us before the last Hurricane was scheduled to hit her house. It missed, curved directly towards our place Atlanta. Her house was completely dry, but she & I were dodging fallen trees up away from the coast!
TY; Great to hear about your buddy and his house. Hopefully Jersey117 pulled through as well.
I saw an article some months ago that said he and Ainsley Earhardt are an item.
Do a duckduckgo.com search for Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity.
Scroll down and there is a list of links, one of which suggests they are living together.
Here is one of the results:

Looks like they have been “dating” for three years.
I certainly hope they are not being hypocritical.
She does a weekly women’s Bible study and he professes to be a Christian.
Hannity left the Catholic denomination some time ago because he realized Catholicism has some deep issues he doesn’t agree with.
They both seem to want to keep their relationship secret, but Fox employees know about it, and it does not “raise any eyebrows”...
I’m getting a little voice 😇 in my head saying that I am gossiping...🤪
Dittos to that, novemberslady!
Thank you, NautiNurse, for your hard work on these hurricane threads, even in the face of a LOT of adversity. We appreciate you and your fine work! Glad you and yours are doing well. :-)

The ocean very rough earlier tonight..... It will get rougher tonight and tomorrow.
Wow! And that’s BEFORE Ian hits Myrtle Beach?
The wind-field of ‘Ian’ is 450 miles now it’s in the Atlantic.
She “almost” had him . . .
Joe Biden decided to take an alternative route off the FEMA podium today.

of Hurricane Ian at Myrtal Beach earlier...
He doesn’t just go off script - he goes off!
oh my goodness!! This is so embarrassing to our country!!
AccuWeather:
Forecasters have narrowed down landfall to be between Folly Beach and Edisto Beach, both of which are just south of Charleston, South Carolina.
This will include Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island.
Officials In Fort Myers Implement ‘6pm Curfew’ Due To LOOTERS Targeting Local Businesses. Lee County as well.
It’s supposed to go ashore at about noon today, Friday. Between Charleston and Myrtle Beach.
Which will be high tide which is bad because the surge could be 6ft.
Predicted flash floods in a large area.
The hurricane expert on Fox says it could be real bad for Charleston, especially the old town area because it is low lands.
If you know anyone there, it would be a good idea to advise them to head for the high ground
Just saw a hurricane expert say landfall between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. Around noon today.
Large flash flooding predicted.
It could hit at high tide.
Wow. Beautiful. I got to see one of those long ago when I was still in my teens from a little Cessna airdoodle. The pilot told me it was a very unusual treat. It was bittersweet, though, as it appeared above the new Tellico TVA dam which was then beginning to flood the homes and farms of people whose lands has been cruelly seized through Eminent Domain. These people were horribly mistreated, and it was awful to see the water flooding their homes from above.
Which for some reason makes me wonder whether the Gray Man has shown up:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gray_Man_(ghost)
He was known as “The Gray Man of Litchfield Beach” back when my family used to vacation in the area, but for some reason he’s since been claimed by Pawley’s. Well, they are close together.
Ian is a big old monster, so it looks like the entire SC coast will get it :( I love Edisto, too. Lots of happy memories there. Charleston and Savannah both such lovely old cities. Can’t help feeling sad. And worried for all in its path.
I think high tide is around elevenish there :( Not good.
