Will they ever stop harrassing this man and his family?

Also, can someone here tell me who (or business entity) was harmed financially in this fraudulent lawsuit? Maybe I was sick that day.

If Trump defrauded the banks why aren’t they suing him instead of the NY AG?

Trump values property by its likely potential.

The bank values property based on what it can reliably get at a forced sale.

If you work hard to sell property, you will be able to get more for it.

Hard work pays. That concept may be foreign to a NYC Democratic politician, but it is a fact.

The two morons who wrote this fairytale were probably jerking each other off at the time.

Letitia is a Soros AG in the state of NY. If she had anything good on him she’d use the power of her office to take him down.

Should hack writers posing as journalists be beaten with wet noodles?

(See how the clickbait headline game is played?)

the reasons James, a Democrat, opted for a lawsuit rather than a prosecution are complicated

Not very complicated. There is no legal or factual basis for criminal charges. Anyone with a filing fee can file a civil lawsuit.

The biggest fraud is the 222-page document itself.

If you have a good case, a few pages should do the trick.

“New York’s attorney general says her three-year investigation of former President Donald Trump uncovered potential crimes...”

Letitia James ran for office and presumably was elected on the promise to go after President Trump and his family. This is obviously an unbiased administration of justice.

I wonder why AP didn’t include that bit of background in their story.

The two “geniuses” that wrote this piece doesn't realize there are no “cuffs” involved in a civil case. The remedy for civil cases is money, pure and simple, if “damage” to the other party can be proven. In this case, however, there is no “aggrieved” party. No one is saying, other than the AG, that Trump defrauded them. No one is claiming that Trump took the money and ran and didn't pay back his loans.

Sigh.....someone who writes this drivel should not be allowed to unless they understand the fundamentals of what they're writing about. But then, if we relied on “educated” liberals, who would write their hit pieces.

And for the record, my background is accounting and law.

They say it is virtuous to hate Trump and his followers.

“NY probe found potential crimes. Why isn’t Trump in cuffs?”

Because it’s not (yet) a crime to think and speak differently from you. Much as you wish that were the case

“Potential crimes”? Can you imagine spending three years of your life trying to find a potential crime someone may or may not have done...with all this time invested so far you’d think something but there’s nothing.

She litigates because she’s got nothing to indict.

The good news is, she’s quickly running out of offenses to charge.

You can’t take a deep breath without it being a potential crime.

Guilty until proven innocent if you’re of the wrong political stripe. If you’re one of “them” all crimes are ignored until the media (rarely) picks up the story. - then no bail release and down the memory hole it goes. See “Paul Pelosi”.

Re: "Who was harmed?"

You nailed it, Kevin.

A three year investigation involving 23 Trump properties, but the civil lawsuit cannot name even one victim!

On Hannity two nights ago, Trump also pointed out that every investigated loan had been paid back in full and on time.

About half of the Associated Press article is devoted to explaining why it was unnecessary or inappropriate to file criminal charges.

These people NEVER give up.

Well … that’s because they found no actual “crimes” committed by DJT. See?

Well there went any remaining credibility the AP had, which was minimal.
