Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) leads Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) by double digits in Florida’s gubernatorial race, a recent Echelon Insights survey found.
The survey asked respondents who they would vote for if the gubernatorial race were held today.
DeSantis enjoys a ten-point advantage, leading Crist 52 percent to 42 percent. The Republican governor also enjoys more certainty among respondents, as 43 percent said they will “definitely” vote for him, compared to 31 percent who said the same for Crist.
A poll from USA TODAY/Suffolk also found DeSantis comfortably leading his Democrat challenger by seven percentage points, or 48 percent to 41 percent.
The Echelon Insights survey was taken August 21 to September 7, 2022, among 815 registered voters in Florida, and has a +/- 4.3 percent margin of error. The USA TODAY/Suffolk survey was taken September 15-18, 2022, among 500 likely midterm voters and has a +/- 4.4 percent margin of error:

Actually this can be a problem, like Beta failing badly in TX.
These are the kind of candidates that attract national campaign cash and incinerate it in losing campaigns.
Now it might go to winnable races.

Was at the bicycle shop this morning. The owner was ranting about Biden being the biggest Fkn a**hole ever. He and I were laughing at Crist another Democrats and a woman said we were disrespectful to the President. Guy told her to get the F out of his store. LOL

He needs to win by as big of a margin as possible to send the message.
DeSantis’ campaign would be well advised to continue acting as if that Fox poll was accurate - do *not* let up, do *not* coast, do *not* stop pressing.
There are no safe seats any more for either party.
Undoubtedly those same people spoke in respectful terms about Trump while he was in office
Freerepublic was once a haven for those seeking truth and serious discussion.
Priceless. I hate to say it but we as conservatives need to become assholes to these people like they have been to us for years. A bully only knows bullying. But yet teach conservatism to those who want to listen. Delicate balance.
If we had control of the democrat built in fraud vote, he would be leading by triple digits

Even if he is up by 70%, they will announce they are shutting down counting for the night, and will wait to see what the mail in ballots say, which of course will make up the difference plus a couple hundred.
