During a portion of an interview aired on Friday’s “NBC Nightly News,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) argued that even though a sizable percentage of the electric grid is powered by natural gas, the grid is “ready to make the change” to a 100% green energy grid and “needs to advance that change with much more urgency,” which California is doing.
NBC News Correspondent Cal Perry asked, “A large percentage of the grid is still coming from natural gas. It’s over 35%. Is the grid ready to make that change to green?”

Did anyone notice the VERY STRANGE footage of him on TV today, wearing a sports jacket or suit coat, but had the collar and lapels all turned up, not normal? Talking about 125 degrees in September in CA, and thousands of heat records. But dressed like he is too cold or something?

I had a sign in my office: Large Carbon Footprints Make For Happy Trees. I explain that C02 is Plant Food, and the real ‘greening’ of the Earth comes from more and more C02. If they continue to listen, I explain about the Carbon Cycle, hydrocarbons, that they are not ‘fossil’ fuels, just a natural part of the universe. I talk about the oceans of hydrocarbons on the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Those oceans could not possibly be from ancient dinosaurs and savannah.
Newsom has no more charisma than Walter Mondale or Michael Dukakis who BOTH flopped as presidential candidates.
Newsom's supposed strength is a smoke & mirrors product of the rigged California voting system.
Compared to DeSantis he has "failure" stamped all over him. He's neither intelligent nor strategic.
The questions I want answered are, when this flops will anyone responsible suffer any consequences?
And, since the “Green Energy” projects are too ugly or cannot meet CA environmental standards where do they intend to build them?
So far as I am concerned NV is off limits.
Of course our current NV Gov. is a Newsom, um, what very accurate word may I use without being banned, “Disciple”?

Newsom didn't say that the grid was ready for 100% green energy. He included "to make the change" vague wording to sidestep the reality that the grid is not ready imo.
Speaking of "ready," I understand that Newsom's train is running late.
