During a portion of an interview with CBS aired on Wednesday’s edition of “CBS Evening News,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen declined to say that inflation is near its peak and stated she doesn’t want to insert herself into forecasting things on a month-by-month basis, but she thinks it will “come down over time due to the actions” that are being taken by the Federal Reserve and that she hopes “to see substantial improvement over the coming year.”

Yellen said, “Inflation remains a problem. It obviously is of tremendous concern to Americans.”

Wait a minute — what about that budget busting “inflation” law that the White House was celebrating? Where is that in the mix?

It doesn’t matter what Yellen thinks or says.

The central bankers are done with the cheap money era.

They’re also done playing “patty cake” with politicians, the media, and voters who want more gibbedats.

We are entering a new era.

Oil Should go up above $120/bbl before the election.

Biden can’t draw cheap oil from the SPR if its empty.

Stop printing and spending money.

What happened to the " soft landing" unicorn we were sold?

And Janet, inflation is caused by Washington if you didn't know, you moron.

“Those who can, do. Those who cant, teach.”

Yellen, like Robert Reich is a prime example of that truism.

“Wait a minute — what about that budget busting “inflation” law that the White House was celebrating? Where is that in the mix?”

It is just more “kick the can” down the road.

The bankers will eventually break them and their stupid ideology.

Economics will win and our economy will recalibrate into a more productive path.

Our economic scale needs to be balanced, at the present time the scale is lopsided.

Yellen is as stupid as a Muppet, but at least while she was on that show, she was entertaining.

Janet Yellen is one of the most unimpressive national economic figures I’ve ever heard speak. All she does is deliver spin and when the spin isn’t enough she switches to damage control. Nothing meaningful is ever said by her.

President “Bobby”:
Mr. Gardner, do you agree with Ben, or do you think that we can stimulate growth through temporary incentives?

Chance the Gardener:
As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.

President “Bobby”:
In the garden.

Chance the Gardener:
Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.

President “Bobby”:
Spring and summer.

Chance the Gardener:
Yes.

President “Bobby”:
Then fall and winter.

Chance the Gardener:
Yes.

Benjamin Rand:
I think what our insightful young friend is saying is that we welcome the inevitable seasons of nature, but we’re upset by the seasons of our economy.

Chance the Gardener:
Yes! There will be growth in the spring!

"'Those who can, do. Those who cant, teach.'"

Tired and trite "conservative" mantra.

I've been witness to many who claim the former who couldn't successfully master the latter...
