Transitory.
It will come down over time. What a prediction!
Inflation will “come down over time due to the actions” that are being taken by the Federal Reserve.”
Wait a minute — what about that budget busting “inflation” law that the White House was celebrating? Where is that in the mix?
It doesn’t matter what Yellen thinks or says.
The central bankers are done with the cheap money era.
They’re also done playing “patty cake” with politicians, the media, and voters who want more gibbedats.
We are entering a new era.
Oil Should go up above $120/bbl before the election.
Biden can’t draw cheap oil from the SPR if its empty.
What happened to the " soft landing" unicorn we were sold?
And Janet, inflation is caused by Washington if you didn't know, you moron.
“Those who can, do. Those who cant, teach.”
Yellen, like Robert Reich is a prime example of that truism.
Yellin belongs in a nursing home the same as Brandon does.
She’s an idiot. She never shoulda left the Muppets…..
“Stop with the word salads 🙄”
She is a politically appointed. You should expect nothing less from this old leftist yapping Yenta hag.
How the hell would she know?
She is there for the pension.
Janet Yellen is one of the most unimpressive national economic figures I’ve ever heard speak. All she does is deliver spin and when the spin isn’t enough she switches to damage control. Nothing meaningful is ever said by her.
OTOH we are so fortunate that Janet Yellen has got it all figured out visa vis wind and solar energy and hsit like that. /S
President “Bobby”:
Mr. Gardner, do you agree with Ben, or do you think that we can stimulate growth through temporary incentives?
Chance the Gardener:
As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.
President “Bobby”:
In the garden.
Chance the Gardener:
Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.
President “Bobby”:
Spring and summer.
Chance the Gardener:
Yes.
President “Bobby”:
Then fall and winter.
Chance the Gardener:
Yes.
Benjamin Rand:
I think what our insightful young friend is saying is that we welcome the inevitable seasons of nature, but we’re upset by the seasons of our economy.
Chance the Gardener:
Yes! There will be growth in the spring!
“Being Their” (1979)
Nostradamus speaks!
Actually her prognostications are about as useful as his in trying to forecast the future
Yes. When the recession is in full swing miraculously inflation will come down. Maybe not to the levels of 2017, 2018, and 2019 but down from the double digits we have now.
