There will be no “strategic reserves” left soon.
You can't drain an empty tank.
And the Dems WILL lose the mid terms on top of that.

According to zerohedge, which for some inexplicable reason can't be posted on this site, “ Biden Admin Reportedly Ready To Refill Strategic Petroleum Reserve At $80/BBL”

Biden needs to be arrested for selling oil from our strategic oil reserve to friggin’ foreigners.

President Trump filled the SOR to the brim. Biden feels that it is his obligation to drain the SOR.

You have it all wrong. Biden is emptying the SPR but he’s filling it back up with electricity.
In case of an emergency such as a war the military can fill up fighter jets with electricity and off we go.
To: Red Badger
Holy crap. Is that for real? Have they really drained it that far in an attempt to save their political skins?

I think that is a misapprehension-and I had the same one up until yesterday.
Apparently, Trump WANTED to fill up the SPR while prices were low, but the effort was scuttled by the Left.

They impeached Trump twice despite the excellent job he was doing. This Traitor is destroying us and no one speaks up. It seems to be the beginning of the end considering silence/acquiescence coming from the opposition party.

A little misleading because the X axis isn’t zero. I hate graphs like this.

When ‘full’ the SPR is 714 Million Barrels.
It was full when Biden stole office.
It is now 442.47 Million Barrels.
Down 38%.............................

The Left doesn’t think we’ll ever need the Strategic Reserve, and would be better off if we drained it completely.
To: Red Badger
Not very strategic I might say, as long as that doesn’t upset the FBI as extremism.

No worries. It’s being replaced by a lithium strategic reserve. That’s slated as the entire state of California. All of it above ground, sitting still, on wheels.

Ah! Thank you. I didn’t check that, because it sure looked like the graph someone posted the other day that illustrated the SPR levels since something like 1980.
The graphs looked very similar, so I thought they were drawn the same way. Apparently not.
I hate it when data is displayed that way too, but...caveat emptor, and I fell into that one.
