A little misleading because the X axis isn’t zero. I hate graphs like this.

Ah! Thank you. I didn’t check that, because it sure looked like the graph someone posted the other day that illustrated the SPR levels since something like 1980.

The graphs looked very similar, so I thought they were drawn the same way. Apparently not.

I hate it when data is displayed that way too, but...caveat emptor, and I fell into that one.

I also am used to checking the X or Y axis. Still, a 1/3 drop in the reserve when the “crisis” was self created seems crazy. This also means that future oil production will have a higher floor when prices fall.
