A while back, leaked Ukranian documents exposed the Ukrainian military and showed that around half of the Ukrainian military was dead, could never fight again, went AWOL, etc, a far higher percentage than Russia is experiencing.
This is why Ukraine had no choice but to bet it all on going offensive.
This leak of Ukrainian documents, that was reported on extensively, occurred around the time of Zelensky’s purge of government officials.
So many libtard MSM stories propping up Ukraine have eventually been exposed as lies over the months and truth be told the Ukrainian military is in a world of hurt - far more than the MSM will admit - but which conservative outlets have reported on.

That video of Russian state TV was BEFORE the Russian Troops fled Kharhiv Oblast and gave up 1,000 square miles of territory they had held for the last 6 months.
The state TV talking heads were pretty bummed out last time we saw them.
Actually, the Russians had almost completely withdrawn from that region before Ukraine launched the offensive there. That's the only reason why the Ukrainians invaded it. It became worthless strategically to the Russains. The latest Ukraine dead in their latest offensives is between 5,000 to 7,000 dead. All for publicity campaign. Russian air power did show up even though their troops were all almost gone and that accounts for the heavy loss of life for the Ukraines.

It’s almost as if people didn’t notice that the Russians (who rarely give accurate body counts until weeks or months after an event) suddenly magicked out sums of dead Ukes in a matter of hours, presumably tallied by the eyes in the backs of the retreating sprinters’ heads.
“Leaked” - more like cobbled up on a beermat and thrown to the Russian media and assorted gullible outlets in a desperate hope to distract people from thinking it’s all FUBAR. Trouble is, they can’t ignore it completely - so you have the hilarious spectacle of the Russian media talking heads flip-flopping between calling it a minor setback, a major disaster, pro-western fake news, an epic fail by the military chain of command, and All Part Of The Plan.

Maggie Simonyan’s flip-flopping between calling for the wholesale destruction of Ukrainian utilities infrastructure to appease the vatniks one minute, and holding out an olive branch the next. I did like this on her Twitter:

Given that not very long ago she was talking about the non-country formerly known as Ukraine, being “de-wormed” of the Ukrainian identity, I don’t think the Ukrainians are fooled by her sudden nostalgia.
Zelenskyy’s message over the weekend, “without you”, has a consistency to it that the Russians can’t replicate.
