A 54-year-old Florida man has been sentenced to 14 months in prison after an investigation found that he was putting laxatives in his son’s daily medication.
According to Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Craig Alan Ripple, 54, was found guilty of felony child abuse in this case on September 8, 2022.
An investigation into a potential child abuse case in August 2019, when the child’s mother reported that Ripple had been tampering with her 14-year-old son’s medication, removing items belonging to the victim and his sister, and other odd behaviors.
The mother was able to provide FCSO with the tampered medication as well as security footage from the residence showing Ripple removing items from a child’s bedroom.
Detectives met with the mother and two juveniles involved in this case on August 8, 2019. The mother explained that while giving her son his nightly dose of medication, it appeared that the pill had been tampered with.

A really crappy thing to do to your own son.
Something smells here.
And he’s an ugly SOB to boot.
In the real world there are some folks who get a kick out of *hit you all would call em’ “perverts” there’s some name to call these folks for sure.
The guilty party looks like Rosie’O Donnel with a crewcut.
He’s looking straight into the camera, as though proud of all his ‘work’.
The article is choppy and incomplete.
We are not told why a 14 y/o needed his Mom to prepare his medications. If this happened before, or to the other two children. Did the Step Dad give any reason for why he did this?
Munchausen by proxy?
A Yankees fan. Go Figure.
Yankee fan, figures
Now arrest parents giving kids “gender affirming” medical treatments.
There does not seem to be any other way to stop it.
In addition to putting laxatives in his son's medication, this bizarre creep was taking the children’s clothes, homework and jewelry and hiding them in order to see the mother frantically search for the items. He would also pour liquid in the children's beds to make it look like they were urinated in. Eventually the mother put up surveillance cameras to catch her husband in the act. She then divorced him - no surprise there.
According to the article I linked, this guy takes 17 prescription drugs of his own related to diabetes, blood pressure and heart issues. I guess he'll have to constantly worry about if they are tampered with while he's in prison.
As an aside, journalism in this country sucks. Nobody does the who, what, when, where and why anymore (the 5 "W"s of journalism I was taught in 8th grade). That original article was awful and gave you scant information.

I think he is a stepfather, not the real father but the stories aren’t telling us that.
This site says stepfather. https://www.crimeonline.com/tag/craig-alan-ripple/
So many evil people.

A stroll down memory lane....
Ripple, Hogshead, Night Train, Thunderbird, MD 20/20, Boone’s Farm, Cisco and Wild Irish Rose.
The kids were crazy about the Boones Farm and the bruthas choked down the rest.
I was purely a beer type myself, then I was introduced to Scotch.
There are more female child abusers than men. Be prepared for that and don’t wimp out.
