Desperate Democrats hope Midterms are a referendum on Trump, not Biden
Arutz Sheva ^ | 12/9/22 | AJ Kaufman

The Aug. 8 Mar-a-Lago Raid and President Joe Biden’s dystopian Independence Hall speech to start September began a transparent autumn effort to thrust former President Donald Trump back into the spotlight. Why you ask? Because Biden and Democrats much prefer to make the crucial midterm elections a referendum on someone not currently holding office than their party’s disastrous policies.

Any Trump-related headline, they believe, can distract not only from Democratic debacles but Republicans’ superior plans for America should the GOP reclaim power. A recap shouldn’t be necessary, but the Reader’s Digest version includes Team Biden mishandling COVID-19 policies, letting teachers’ unions destroy vulnerable students’ futures, and continuous poor communication on masks, re-openings, and vaccines. Recently the White House botched monkeypox with vaccine shortages and misapplications.

The administration’s profligate federal spending, including two unnecessary recent bills to close the summer, exacerbated inflation, crushed the middle and lower classes, and reduced supplies of food and energy.

If it’s a referendum on Trump, we should win.

If it’s a referendum on Biden, we should win.

Call me crazy, but I think the chances of Trump being elected president in 2022 are pretty slim ...

I hate this kind of headline, “Desperate Democrats... “

The only thing politicians are desperate for is money.

Gas was $2.40 a gallon when Trump left office.....food was cheaper there were no supply chain issues mothers could get baby formula and 13 American service members were still alive that now are not.

I don’t see them getting out from under all that.

However, with all the unapoligetic things they are doing and saying they sure don’t act like they are worried about the midterms.....almost like they already know how it’s gonna turn out......but hey....I’m paranoid.

“The only thing politicians are desperate for is money”

Many of them are already rich which then moves them to being power hungry......and that’s very dangerous.

...oh, and perverted sex, and good vodka, and a divided country leading to Civil War II.

"...almost like they already know how it’s gonna turn out..."

They do. I would be surprised if the GOP takes the House and the Senate. I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP takes neither one.

We already had a referendum on Trump and he got 10 million more votes than the previous election.

And in the primaries this year we’ve had a referendum on Trump (on the Republican side) and his endorsement rate is at 92%.

So, they’re out of luck. Because this year won’t be different than any other mid-term: the people will vote according to the CURRENT situation, which is VERY BAD. And as usual, to correct, they will check the Executive power with a change to the Legislative power (assuming of course that the elections actually reflect what the people actually voted for, and is not mitigated by chicanery).

MAGA.

Make American Great Again.

One of the most effective slogans in American political history. Very effective in the 2016 election, and even in the 2020 campaign. Trump did not lose that election. Trump lost to the huge and widespread fraud, perpetrated by democrats in many states.

MAGA scares democrats to death.

Therefore, democrats are trying to demonize the MAGA slogan, not because it’s scary to the country, but scary to democrats. They think that if enough people believe their big lie, that they stand a chance in the midterms and in the 2024 elections.

MAGA needs to remain alive and made even bigger, in order to save the country from the real danger that the country faces, and that’s the democrats policies which have the country headed towards ruin. Every one is affected and every family is affected, and the whole country is in danger from the real scary democrat agenda.

MAGA all the way. The country needs MAGA.

This is why the judge’s decision tying up the Mar A Lago documents p*ssed them off so much, and why they’re trickling them out a nugget at a time in spite of the ruling.

November should be a slam dunk for Pubbies. But they have little in the way of a positive agenda to motivate people to vote for them. Because of that, they’ll probably win the House but by a much slimmer margin than they are hoping for.

Whatever, a Republican win won’t be anything to get excited about because they’re not going to do anything with their majority except use it as a platform to whine and make excuses.

************

Nor would I. The party doesn’t stand for anything. Democrats on the other hand actually produces results for their voters.

Republicans are terrible at messaging and even worse at producing results.

The Democrats are either hiding or attacking Trump.
Neither of these plays are the work of someone who is ahead.
I am boosting my est for winning Senate to 60%
