The Russians are “regrouping” so rapidly in the Kharkiv region that Ukrainian troops barely have time to captured all the weapons and equipments during the offensive in Kharkiv region but they manage to captured so many weapons abandon by Russian Army.
Several photo appeared in the public domain indicating that during the offensive in the Kharkiv Region, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took as a trophy the enemy command and staff vehicle R-149МА1, which is an element of the automated control system of the Russian military, known under the designations “Sozvezdie” and “ESU TK”. It seems that this car was taken as a trophy from the results of the battles on September 8, 2022.
And this is only the second R-149MA1 that fell into the hands of the Armed Forces during the entire war against the Russian Federation. The first was captured in mid-March 2022 in the Mykolaiv region. Analysts of the Oryx portal give a conservative estimate according to which Ukrainian troops also destroyed at least six R-149МА1 by using anti-tank missiles during the entire period of hostilities.
As we can judge by the feedback of our defenders on social networks, the Russian army in the Kharkiv region is retreating so rapidly that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not collected so many trophies for a long time.
Here it is worth adding that the above-mentioned P-149MA1 is not the first “valuable gift” left behind by the Russians. As previously reported by Defence View, during the liberation of Balakleia, Ukraine military took the Russian Tor-M1 air defense system as a trophy for the first time during the war. And also – that the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “trophied” the 1L261 radar station of Rashistov from the 1L260 “Zoopark-1M” counter-battery complex, the second during the entire war.
Not only that Ukraine armed forces also captured numbers of Russian tank T-72, T-80 tanks BTR armored personnel carrier. In just single location Ukrainian forces captured Russian 8 T-80BVs, and a T-80U, two BTR variants, a UR-77 and more vehicles near Izium. Also they able to captured BREM–1M armoured recovery vehicle (ARV).

Yeah till you run out of gas.
The Germans in WW2 produced monster tanks like the Tiger and the King Tiger, they even built a behemoth they called the “Jagdtiger’’. This thing had eight inches of armor and a 128mm main gun.
The things ran out of fuel and had to be abandoned. The Russkies are probably in the same situation.
I for one continue to pray that this Russian invasion now will end. The world came together to support the cause of freedom for this fledgling nation.
I believe all of us should recognize the miracle of this hoped for end to the Russian invasion and that each of us should direct all honor and praise be given to Almighty God for answer to world-wide hope-filled prayer for Ukrainian victory.
Yup. I see Zelensky’s biggest cheerleader has resurfaced here on FR.
Who is this broad anyway?
In the history of warfare, its a very common practice.
And leave your clearly fake politeness somewhere else. Real politeness doesn’t come after cynical barbs.
Amen!

Russians Are Retreating On Foot| Moscow Deputies Demand Putin’s Resignation - EXCITING NEWS!

Usually if you’re going to abandon equipment, you either booby trap it, or more likely render it forever unusable. (i.e. spike the barrel)
Also, you’d rig the ammo dump so you can blow it sky high at a time of your choosing, most likely remotey detonate it when the enemy has gathered around to see their “spoils” of war.
I find it hard to believe the Russians wouldn’t have done these things.
You booby trap if it is a controlled retreat. In the case of a panicked retreat you don’t
Amen to that. The Russians would be best served by rolling what remains of their invasion and occupying forces back across their border. Failing that, this attempt to plunder and pillage Ukraine is only going to spiral downward for them.
For sale… Russian military rifles - never fired and dropped only once.
If you had enough fuel. Sure...
The fact that the Russians just cut and run made the loss of life on both sides less. Praise God!
In fairness, it’s kind of tough to argue that the Russians didn’t have much armor left, then argue that they left massive quantities of it behind. Either they had it, or they didn’t.
—
Didn’t have much armor left RELATIVE to how much they began with. Armor also counts various fighting vehicles beside tanks.
6 tanks here, 9 thanks tanks there are “massive” to reporters seeking a headline, but inconsequential to the standard Russian Mechanized Brigade which can have up to 60 tanks. Tank brigades have more.
