Texas sheriff says fentanyl should be classified as weapon of mass destruction

Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson says the illicit drug fentanyl that’s pouring into Texas through the southern border should be labeled as a "weapon of mass destruction."

He told Fox News, “fentanyl is poison that’s being introduced to our country. The illicit manufacturing of this stuff has just gotten crazy with the potency of it. The deception by the drug dealers to mix it in to the pressed pills trying to sell it as a legal drug that’s a prescription medication.

”It only takes 2 milligrams of this stuff to kill you and we’re finding twice, sometimes three times the amount of fentanyl in a pill that’s not supposed to contain any fentanyl,” he added.

“Believe it or not, drug dealers will lie to you. There is no quality control standard. It is truly a weapon of mass destruction that's killing our population.”

Mexican transnational criminal organizations continue to supply most of the fentanyl (as well as cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin) smuggled into the U.S., Texas law enforcement officials, the DEA, and other agencies say.

Fentanyl precursors are often first shipped from China to Mexican ports. Cartel workers make fake opioid pills or lace other narcotics with them and then transport them into the U.S. primarily through the southern border.

Popular pills now flooding the market are rainbow colored and look like candy. They are often stamped with an “M” and used to appeal to children, law enforcement officials warn.

He’s right and anyone caught trafficking in it or dealing it should be summarily executed.

Chemical Warfare, to be specific. L.S.D. In the 1960s, “Crack” Cocaine in the 1980s.

Starting to notice a pattern here maybe?

And China should likewise be declared an enemy.

Well at the rate of how fentynal is killing off the drug addicts I often wonder

if that's intended to get them off the streets and out of the system.

In California, the number of fatalities attributed to fentanyl jumped by more than 2,100% in five years....many heroin users have switched over to fentanyl becuase it’s much cheaper and easier to obtain.

It does not matter how it's classified, as long as no one is capable of doing what it takes. Closing the borders for starters.
Not only would it stem the influx of criminals, traffickers, terrorists and drugs, it might also reduce the motivation for certain "domestic terrorism" groups.
(Even though the government's examples of DT groups is questionable)

Great stance. Too many in our government are making bank on our destruction.

Never mind all the legal shenanigans, just close the damned border. You can’t trust politicians to do anything right. The progressives would tack on $100 billion for the Ukraine.

“ChiComs working with the cartels.”

Here’s my understanding from years of reading. The Chinese export the precursor chemicals which are legal to Mexico. Once in Mexico those chemicals are mixed into fentanyl. From there they are moved across the border by “mules.” The mules are people who have paid to get taken into the United States. Once in America many of the mules become “employees” (slaves) of the gangs and work in sweatshops in a variety of roles.

The key to all of this is that the American border is, for all intents, open to anyone who walks across. Once here they get onto various welfare rolls. The incentive for the various people working in the welfare agencies and sometimes for churches is to register as many people as they can as THAT is their job.

So far the government has focused on the Mexican gangs as they don’t want to work the Chinese angle. There is no political will to close the border as that’s a fight no one other than a president can shoulder the burden for.

The Mexican government’s least resistance effort is to shuttle as many people as possible to the American border and make it our problem instead of their problem.

Trump was the first president in my 68 year old memory who attempted to solve the problem by closing the American border. A closed border will stop people from flooding into Mexico and cause the gangs to find other, more expensive means to move the drugs. Less drugs mean less chemicals bought from China. (In case you’re thinking of stopping Chinese ships...they are carrying legal chemicals with dual use potential. The Chinese government has laughed at the requests to get involved and they mention the Opium wars. So, tough luck.)

We’ve been messing with this problem for nearly a century and Trump is the closest we ever came to solving it.

The other thing we might do is attack the dealer/user angle in the US. Unless we start shooting them on sight, there is not practical solution there.

Not sure how many articles we have to see that literally describe and quote addicts as saying and showing they don’t want help or “access to services” before enabling “advocates” wake up and realize these people simply Do. Not. Want. Help. ......They want only to be enabled to keep up their lifestyle.

The most successful model is China. By executing drug dealers and users, they keep the overall death rate associated with drugs way below the rate seen in any western nation.

Why?

This is what 81,000,000 voted for. Biden and Co made no attempt to lie to the people about what they were going to do at the border. And it’ll only get worse.

And if Republicans get control, all they’ll do is slow the pace down. Their corporate masters want the cheap labor as much as the Dems want that and future voters.

Often thought, send teams into the desert, along the smuggling routes. Shoot ‘em on site, destroy the drugs, leave the bodies in the desert for the animals and bugs.

I’m not even close for killing tens of millions of American drug users, but I am all in on whacking their dealers.

Addicts stay on the street through the enabling actions of the City’s “harm reduction” policies.

A nine year addict states:

“The city is way too easy for people with nothing to get by,” she said. “That’s why I’m still here nine years later. You get by with doing drugs and suffer no consequences. I like it here...It’s like a vortex,” she said. “I want to get out of here. But why the f— would I leave here if I have everything I need given to me?”
