The Senate race in Georgia appears to be shifting back in the GOP's favor, according to a new poll that shows Herschel Walker as the favorite in the midterm election over incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga.
An InsiderAdvantage/FOX 5 Atlanta poll released Thursday suggests Walker has taken the lead in the Georgia race, one of the most closely watched Senate races in the nation, with the football legend receiving 47% support from voters in the Peach State over Warnock's 44% support.
The latest poll shows a two-point increase for Walker and a four-point decrease in Warnock's support since a July poll — a major shift in the race just two months before the midterm elections.

One of my favorite Herschel stories... In 1982 a woman was trapped in a wrecked car that was starting to smoke. A guy was trying to open the stuck door but could not budge it. Herschel, who was out running, popped out of the crowd and yanked the door open. They got the woman out and Herschel left to continue his run.
Shouldn’t the “gap” be widening then?
How many Senate seats need to flip for GOP takeover?
This is just a get out the vote alert to Dems. They’re damn good at getting out the vote...and in strategic districts.
He’s an icon in GA-—Also, Trafalger has him up 3 as well.
Mitch McConnell is very sad.
Where are all the whiney pearly clutching Freepers who said we are going to lose the senate because of him? He might lose, but he always had a chance without fraud. GA is a solid Red State, it’s fraud that makes it purple.
I know...I had to read that headline 3 times to understand what they were trying to say. Finally I translated it. “Walker is leading and we don’t like that because he’s MAGA”
exactly
Up 3 points is not enough to stop the spread of fraud the commies are gonna pull
One word: adjudication. 🙄
“Mitch McConnell is very sad.”
No

“The Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC linked to McConnell, announced it is reserving $34.1 million in Pennsylvania, $37 million in Georgia, and $27.6 million in North Carolina to support the Republican nominees.”
//$37 million in Georgia//
closing the gap?? little bias there?
He is pulling ahead.
I so hope you are right. I have so little faith in the leadership.
Walker was ahead by 2, now by 3 and that’s “closing the gap” per the MSM frauds at Fox.
I hope Ron Johnson trends the same.
I was confused by the headline too. They need a better editor.
we need to hold wisconsin and penn, and pick up Georgia. That’s the likeliest path to us gaining control.
