The Uvalde Police Department said the two injured are juveniles who were sent to San Antonio hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.

The shooting occured in Uvalde Memorial Park, police said, which is located roughly a mile from where a gunman shot and killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School on May 24.

Sounds like Mexico has come to the USA. I wonder how that happened.

It’s G W MORON’s dream come true.

Maybe because gangs know that the police force is a bunch of pussies who don’t give a crap if kids get murdered.

Yep. And this sort of thing is difficult, if not impossible, to reverse. Good folks in Mexico have tried to stop the violence there, and they have always failed.

I rank George W. Bash as one of the three worst US presidents based on his failure to stop radical Islam and his blundering in Afghanistan and Iraq. His failure at the southern border just might make him the worst president ever.

He was my number 1 until Biden was installed into the White House. Worse than W ain't easy only a demented enemy of America could do it.

It’s going to be a close contest. As of now, I’m ranking Bush II lower than Biden because of W’s horrible bungling of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But Biden’s insane energy policies could collapse the economy. And he might yet get us into a war with Russia.

I miss Ronald Reagan more and more. Back then, sensible adults were in charge.

1986 amnesty for illegal immigrants signed into law and supported by Ronald Reagan.

Yes, that’s true. It was part of a deal that the Democrats and the globalists later reneged on. Illegal immigrants got amnesty. And in return there was supposed to be a crackdown on the hiring of illegals. No sense in crossing the border if there are no jobs. That was Reagan’s (very naive) idea.

The Gipper was not perfect. He trusted the other side to keep their word. That was probably his biggest mistake of his presidency.

Wow, dubya in the top three worse. Guess you never heard of FDR, LBJ, Wilson, Obama, etc. Those are all worse than dubya. He slots in behind those and biden if you ask me. YMMV.

Uvalde is an interesting place.

On the morning of November 22, 1963 (day of JFK assassination) Dan Rather was in Uvalde to interview John Nance Garner, politician and VP under FDR. Garner began his political career as the county judge in Uvalde County.

Rather was from Wharton, TX. Wharton and Uvalde are at almost identical latitude positions: 29°21°N 99°79°W for Uvalde;
29°18°N 96°6°10”W for Wharton.

When looking at the map, two other towns not far from Wharton are Nixon, TX and Kenedy, TX (Kenedy - with one ‘n’).

I think this is how Civil War II is going to be fought. Kind of kamikaze/guerilla actions in urban and suburban settings.
Like the wild west you can see in those western movies.
Except the action will be in populated areas.
Sure hope I am wrong.

Yah, my thought, too.

I suspect the local donut shop was closed — so the fat arsed coppers had to roam the streets.

I’ve no respect for any of the coppers in that town. I hope the lawsuits bankrupt the area.

I’m with you on that. Lots of bad guys on offense; the good guys on defense until they can quickly go on the counter-attack and win the encounter through superior weaponry, ammunition, attitude, planning, maintenance, training and skill.

The bad guys set the time and place for the encounter, and they’ll catch a few of the good guys just because of the bad guys’ cowardly ways, but the good guys need an overwhelming response overall.

I mean, it’s really already happening when you think about it.
