In the natural gas Russian sanctions boondoggle Putin will earn an additional $80B due entirely to Brussels and DC tomfoolery. It looks like the new Brit PM solution is to pay some of these increased profits directly by subsidizing quadruple home heating bills. $80B will replace a lot of old Warsaw Pact junk with the latest Chicom military tech.

Can also greatly speed up the building of new pipelines to China.

Putin also shut down Nordstrom 1* [the upscale department store].

*White Diaper Station spokeswoman Karine Jean Pierre thinks that Nordstrom 1 got shut down - doesn't apparently know what "Nordstream 1" is.

From Newsweak

Forbes calculated that between the start of the war on February 24 to its six-month point on August 24, Russia lost 12,142 pieces of equipment worth $16.56 billion. The total does not include Russian missiles, it said.

Is that $80 billion after a 50% reduction in shipments due to lack of transport capacity?

And does the price cited for this year include the discounts to China, Japan, India, etc.?

Britain’s new PM has also opened up fracking. A very good move.

This is pretty cool for Russia. They can produce 1/3 the natural gas and get paid the same as before.

Russia should continue this.

Sanctions never looked so good!

The Pentagon is spending $92 million to replenish its stock

The Pentagon has sent Ukraine its most accurate artillery shell, the GPS-guided Excalibur, according to budget documents that confirm the previously unannounced addition to the arsenal assembled to combat the Russian invasion.

I had posted the following news earlier today. I wonder if there is a connection.

Wonder what this is about?

Diesel has gone up more than 140% in the US since Biden was elected.

If that is all it will go up, they’ll be fine.

I hear the Chicoms have got really good tires to sell to Russia. The reality is that $80 billion will go to outfitting mega yachts for Putin’s corrupt oligarchs and the rest wasted on cheap Chicom garbage.

“as Moscow cuts supplies to Europe”
___________

I thought Europe cut ties to Russia.

Isn’t this the perfect opportunity to point out how the Climate Change, Green Energy push is worthless? After all these years Europe has been touting this....50 years....and they have pretty much nothing to show for it. It’s a lie. They need fossil fuels.

It is widely reported that Russia is developing new customers who will violate sanctions for gas sold at extreme dscount.

Reduced sales at a cheap price will not replace therevenue from Europe

I would predict that Europe would see a major sea change in their parliaments during their next elections.

But I won’t because Europeans are thoroughly socialist in their thinking.

Which is to say they are fools.

Chicom “tech” is overrated. China’s ponzi-scheme economy is collapsing under the weight of decades of fraud, stupendous corruption, and the world’s highest debt load.
