On Tucker Carlson Tonight, the Fox News host discussed the rape and murder of Eliza Fletcher in Memphis, Tennessee. The story has shocked much of the nation, but as Carlson noted, far too many were NOT shocked by it.
Leftists on social media went so far as to victim-blame Fletcher, wondering why she didn’t know “the rules” about jogging at that hour in a city like Memphis. Some of the comments were disgusting on their face, but they also betrayed a deeper problem we’re facing as a nation. Law and order have been replaced in many areas of the country with these so-called “rules” that mean American citizens should expect violence.
It’s the normalization of criminal dysfunction as the prevailing, unspoken law of the land. And as Carlson emphatically said, it must be stopped immediately before everywhere is Memphis
“Our entire country will be Memphis if we don’t put a stop to this insanity right now with as much force as is required,” he said.
Watch it all the way through to the end. He’s absolutely right. But even as crime turns once-safe cities into playgrounds for violent degenerates, Democrats continue to promote the very “equity” that rewards evil and punishes good. They reward failure and punish success.

once-safe cities
Memphis has not been safe for 40 years
According to Tucker, the people voted for this and all elections are fair. Why is he complaining about things the people voted for and want?
Dad was a tree surgeon. I inherited his equipment when he passed. Time to oil up that industrial woodchipper and put it to use—feet first…
There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out that it is foolish to do certain things, that it absolutely invites someone bad to do something bad to you. That is not "victim blaming" -- the moral responsibility still rests with the perp -- but it is pointing out that an application of a little prudence and wisdom could have made the situation work a bit differently.
If you leave your doors unlocked and make that fact clear to everyone in the neighborhood, don't be surprised when you get robbed and don't be surprised when your insurance company refuses to cover the losses.
For a woman, a white woman especially, to go running in Memphis of all places, alone, unarmed, at 4:30 in the morning is incredibly foolish. That's just a fact. Reminding people of that fact is not wrong and not "victim blaming".
Once upon a time, in a nice neighbrhood in a big city about 3 hours from Memphis, a man and his wife lived with their two small sons in what they thought was a safe neighborhood. There was one gun in the house, a .22 rifle, but no ammunition for it.
One night, the man carelessly left the garage door open when he returned from getting takeout food. About 2 am, the wife noticed a light on in the garage, and went out -- alone and unarmed -- to take care of it, where she was attacked by a serial rapist. She fought him off, and her screams alerted her husband, who came to help without knowing what was going on. The rapist fled. He was eventually caught after attacking several more women, and is today serving what amounts to a couple of consecutive life sentences.
Can you count the things that that couple did wrong? I sure can, and today we live in a different neighborhood, behind a high fence, have two large dogs, and that .22 rifle ... has ammo and lots of company.
So cut the c##p about "victim shaming". There is not the slightest thing wrong with pointing out when someone does something imprudent, and reminding others what prudent behavior looks like.
And don't you dare call me a "Dem troll".
and when they do, they will give them life in prison like they did that guys who chased the guy down in the truck
what they really meant was once safe “neighborhoods”
You are correct brother

We have a Leftist prosecutor here in GA acting similarly, trying to “get Trump”. You know, find the man, I’ll find the crime. Of course she is from high-crime Fulton County. Most of the City of Atlanta is in Fulton County.
These Leftist political prosecutors actively using their powers to engage in anarcho-tyranny must be stopped.
Heck, I just saw a video of a woman walking down her street in a wealthy neighborhood of Chicago at 3:00 pm when a car full of thugs rolled up next to her, theee of them jumped out and pushed her down and robbed her at gun point.
So maybe it’s her fault…after all, she just should stay home and lock herself in the house 24/7 in order not to give the thugs an opportunity.
The solution is not to tolerate this and to punish the thugs severely and to restore a law-abiding, safe society - at any time of day or night.
Blaming the victim IS “thinking like a brain dead liberal,” because it excuses the thugs from having to have any control over their actions.
Btw, the thug who killed the jogger had a history in his housing project of following and grabbing women who lived there and offering to pay them money for sex or holding them rubbing up against them…and they never complained to the police because they obviously thought there was no point and that thugs ruled and he’d probably make things worse for them if they complained. These were all black women, and they obviously are so accustomed to living in a lawless and savage environment that they just thanked their lucky stars that they were able to get him off them.
He could easily get the death penalty for this brutal murder. This is Tennessee, not New York.
Except it actually doesn't.
Ferguson was mass rioting and anarchy for weeks. This one is one brutal murder by one habitual criminal.
Don't confuse yourself or try to gaslight.
Exactly right, but I believe they have a soft on crime governor in TN so this is expected.
Just when did he say that?
Why is he complaining about things the people voted for and want?
Is there any political party that has a platform of murdering people? Nope.
I'm really surprised America hasn't had secret death squads formed in some places.
“According to Tucker, the people voted for this and all elections are fair.
Just when did he say that?”
When he claimed Trump was lying about the 2020 election steal.
‘Someone’ will put a bounty on this killer, and ‘someone’ inside the prison will collect. He won’t be around long...perhaps he will get the Dahmer treatment.
As I recall, Memphis is where they have a Pyramid
