What's going on behind the scenes of the Russia-Ukraine war?

...

Now, let's stop and think. We already know that capitalism is built on the principle of maximizing profit. This is what price regimes serve. High pricing means high profitability. So, when does the price of a good or service go up? One of the main reasons for this is a disorder in circulation or limited supply. The war between Russia and Ukraine caused both. First, production was globally reduced because of the pandemic. Just as the world thought we got rid of the pandemic, things are getting back on track, production will pick up, they broke out the war. They broke the supply chains. They hiked prices through indirect and artificial traffic. OPEC did not agree to increasing the supply. This was supposedly the reason behind Biden's Middle East tour. It didn't work. Did it not work, or was it made to fail intentionally? Who knows! But considering these developments, I can't help but ask some questions and share them here.

We saw how the pandemic generated mind-blowing profits for the pharmaceutical and logistics industries.

Does throwing the dear country Ukraine in Russia's lap show the time has now come for the energy and war industries? While it seemed like Russia was the issue, was the real focus to collapse the Euro region, the EU, primarily Germany, and more importantly, to cut EU-Russia-China ties, which show potential for development and form a new center of gravity? Russia found a suitable way out for itself. It at least succeeded in turning the pressure into an opportunity. What about China, which has now decided to focus on the national market? What about the EU, primarily Germany, and secondly France, which is helplessly seeking austerity measures? Let's not suffice with the reflections in the mirror. Everything is happening behind the mirror.

Hopefully, negotiations to end the war are going on behind the scenes.

“What about China,”

The Ukraine and Russian conflict has no strategic importance to the United States whatever.

The Pacific Rim is immensely important to the United States.
China will act.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict is showing a major problem with commercial JIT (Just In Time) globalism.

As long as things are peaceful, nearly everyone is happy, good and services go on, and the economy is good. When a dictator or three are unhappy and want to expand their empire by taking over neighboring land, they can really screw things up in a hurry.

Not happening. At this point, Russians do not trust the rulers of Ukraine enough to make any kind of deals with them.

Does anyone read beyond headlines anymore?

"Capitalism is the most irrational network of structures witnessed by history, despite claims arguing the exact opposite."

Is the first line after the head line. Are we so opposed to US aiding Ukraine, we're anti-capitalists now?
This is a Marxist view of capitalism and US foreign policy, using economic fallacies and reductionism as it basis.

Is capitalism really built on maximizing profits?

I thought that capitalists were more based in reality than Marxists and would therefore believe that in a truly free market there would be no long term monopolies and prices that companies could charge for their goods would tend towards an equilibrium price just above the cost of production.

Yes, individual capitalists would like to make huge profits, and they can for a while if they are the first out with a unique or better product. However, this period shouldn't last long as other companies come in to provide similar products at lower prices.

Marketing can help, e.g. Rolex, Apple, Tesla, etc. can get people to pay more than they otherwise would for snob or smug appeal reasons, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

If a company is making much more than the cost of production, then they probably have a level of monopoly control over their market, or are part of a formal or informal cartel that can control prices above the natural level.

This is why the globalists instigated the war. They need chaos to cover for their crimes.

Hopefully, negotiations to end the war are going on behind the scenes.

They had an agreement last April but Boris nixed it.

Zelenskyy is partying like its 1999.

Along with all our esteemed politicians that are most likely getting nice kickbacks for supporting the massive amounts of $$$$ being sent by the good ole USA.

Russians can’t trust Ukrainians? That’s funny. What makes the Russians trustworthy? Let’s just overlook the fact that they invaded Ukraine with the intention of installing a pro-Russian government. Putin apologists strain our credulity.
