National Assessment of Educational Progress, nicknamed “the nation’s report card,” results show the first-ever drop in math and the largest drop in reading in more than 30 years. Black children had an even bigger collapse in scores. Decades of educational progress undone. Poof.

We know the school closures did this. It wasn’t the COVID virus. It was the hyper-political reaction, from the left, on reopening schools during the pandemic.
The orders came from the top. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the directives.

Teachers, especially in urban districts, are quitting in droves. Why? Because the policies advocated by the Education establishment have discouraged learning — especially by minority children. This must be by design.
Even Liberals don’t want jobs where there is zero sense of accomplishment.

In my state they recently acknowledged that graduation requirements - no association to lockdowns WHATSOEVER - did not meet the requirements of businesses and colleges.

All the virus lockdowns did was permit them to shift blame.

Each state needs to refuse to collect union dues. Make teachers write a check each month for dues.

There have not been decades of progress. While there is a drop in scores because of shutting schools, it was a decline based on the crap that teachers have been indoctrinating.
