National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott wants DC Swamp creatures like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to know that his attempts to squash a GOP victory in the Senate this fall by throwing Republican candidates under the bus are “an amazing act of cowardice” and “treasonous to the conservative cause.”
In a short but fiery opinion editorial published on Thursday, Scott lambasted the “many of the very people responsible for losing the Senate last cycle” who are “now trying to stop us from winning the majority this time by trash-talking our Republican candidates” as “fools.”
“Giving anonymous quotes to help the Washington Post or the New York Times write stories trashing Republicans is the same as working with the Democratic National Committee,” Scott wrote. “If you want to talk about the need to raise more money to promote our candidates versus the Democrats’ terrible candidates, I agree. If you want to trash-talk our candidates to help the Democrats, pipe down. That’s not what leaders do. And Republicans need to be leaders that build up the team and do everything they can to get the entire team over the finish line.”
He never mentions McConnell’s name, but it’s clear from his writing that Scott is unhappy with the leader’s recent negativity towards his own party.
Scott’s rebuke comes just a couple of weeks after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell downplayed Republicans’ chances at winning back the upper chamber.
“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate,” McConnell said. “Senate races are just different, they’re statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”

I hope a number of senators grow tired of McConnell's self-serving antics. His time has come and gone.

Encouraging. Do more, Scott.
Get rid of the corrupt old toad as leader and life would be so much better.
Yep, but he's the King, it's not easy to dethrone a King.
Sabotage is about him being paid off by Chinese/Leftists.
That is what one can ask?
Payola to betray his party?
The Democrat leftists are all running ads against the establishment and Washington DC.
At the very least the Republican candidates should be doing the same.
“He never mentions McConnell’s name”
Mitch has to go. Period.
The RNC, RCCC, and RSCC are doing their best to shut out conservative candidates the voters nominated in primaries because they defeated the RINOs.
These groups have received record million$ this year but are throwing Oz, Masters, and other Trump supported candidates under the bus, not giving them a dime. McConnell just gave a little, but it is meaningless.
Don’t give a penny to these groups.

mitch is not on the conservative team
he would rather lose than give up rino control of party leadership
Retire mitch you surrender turtle
That is encouraging, I might have to take Rick Scott off my list of Bush League Republicans.
Not Tim Scott, though, he’s the duller, darker Flimsey Grahamnesty.

That’s why they are known as Assistant Democrats.
Mitch is for Mitch.
Nothing else.
GOP should get rid of his sorry self serving ass.
We will not get new leadership until we change the membership.
As long as we keep re-electing Thune, Barrasso, Blunt, Ernst, Scott (SC), Lee, Crapo, Grassley, Shelby, Murkowski, Sullivan, Boozman, Rubio, Risch, Young, Braun, Moran, Cassidy, Collins, Hyde-Smith, Daines, Fischer, Sasse, Burr, Tillis, Hoeven, Cramer, Portman, Inhofe, Lankford, Toomey, Grahamnesty, Rounds, Cornyn, Romney, Capito, Lummis then they will keep Mitch in his position.
While I agree with Scott he hasn’t exactly out-performed as the NRCC Chairman.
1. Will you vote to retain Mister McConnell or will you support another GOP Sen? and,
2. Are you aware of the following gaming of the draft and Military system by Mister McConnell during the Vietnam War (adapted from Wiki)?
In March 1967, shortly before the expiration of his educational draft deferment upon graduation from law school, McConnell enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve as a private at Louisville, Kentucky. This was a coveted position because the Reserve units were mostly kept out of combat during the Vietnam War. His first day of training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, was July 9, 1967, two days after taking the bar exam, and his last day was August 15, 1967. Shortly after his arrival, he was diagnosed with optic neuritis and was deemed medically unfit for military service, After five weeks at Fort Knox, he was honorably discharged.
Believe me, I am NO fan of McConnell. In fact I despise him. But I know he does have polio. Not sure if this had an affect on his military service/discharge. And they were much stricter then. My uncle got rejected in the late 50’s for flat feet.
