By the end of the year, Russia will almost run out of shells, artillery and armored vehicles – the Insider

More than six months of war in Ukraine have led to huge losses of manpower and military equipment of the terrorist state of Russia. By the end of this year, the Russian Federation will run out of shells for artillery and armored vehicles, there are also very few guided missiles, and the state of military aviation does not allow for a full-scale air campaign.

According to the Insider, due to Western sanctions, Russia cannot continue full-fledged industrial production of weapons and replenish supplies that are rapidly being depleted. It is noted that the Arsenal left in the Russian Federation since Soviet times was used up by two more Chechen wars and the fleeting Georgian campaign.

In 2014-2017, a large-scale campaign was conducted in the Russian Federation to restore shells. At the same time, the publication clarified that the rate of consumption of shells during the two Chechen wars was many times lower than during the current war, when they reach 40 000 – 60 000 shells of all types per day at high intensity of hostilities, decreasing to 24,000 per day during periods of very conditional "calm".

After making the necessary calculations and analyzing the current war in Ukraine, the publication concluded that over the past 6 months, Russia should have spent at least 7 million shells, not counting losses as a result of Ukrainian strikes on the invaders ' ammunition depots.

So, if the intensity of the war remains at the current level, Moscow will face a shell shortage by the end of 2022 and will have to reduce the use of artillery in order to save money, the article says.

In addition, the authors added that the expected "shell starvation" should coincide with a shortage of artillery pieces that become unusable on their own.

Recall: the representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vadim Skibitsky said that in the war against Ukraine, Russia spent a large number of missiles (about 55%). The occupiers have a particularly difficult situation with high-precision Iskanders and calibres. According to the agency's calculations, the enemy still has no more than 45% of the missiles that were at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. According to Skibitsky, the Russians are likely to use less accurate missiles against our country.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration Vitaly Kim said that the Russian army faces problems with its missiles. Some of them do not reach the target and explode in the air.

“This has been stated several times - but is far from true.”

Okay. You’re saying this based on what?

Ukraine is winning big! Once the Russians run out of shells—its all over. War over by November. Russian Guns will be silenced as Ammo dumps blown up by US/UK Wonder weapons! Ukraine’s victory is set! Russians have no stomach for war. Send more Billions! Ukraine will push back all invaders and take back all the lands she ruled in the Past. All of the Black Sea will be Ukraine! Once in NATO she will be under protection. Seize the Russian oil fields and Ukraine can provide all of Europe’s oil needs for centuries!

How do you know it's not true?

(Just asking)

Doesn’t really matter about missiles. All Russia needs is stuff that will kill women and children and destroy what is in front of them. They’ll never run out of press ganged cannon fodder to feed into the Ukrainian woodchipper.

Have you noticed what Red China has done in the Solomon Islands?
Or are you all so blind you have no care what-so-ever about how thousands of Marines, Sailors, Army and Airman died taking those islands during WW2?

But focus on a conflict that is supported by Biden and his criminal cabal and has no strategic value to the USA.

You are a disgrace to the memory of those boys who died in the Pacific. An absolute DISGRACE!!!!!!

Artillery shells are among the last things I’d expect Russian forces to run out of, but they are already hard pressed to keep getting them where they need them.

It is emblematic of the high pace of operations, and the high rate of losses. It can’t go on forever.

I’m betting Europe runs out of gas before Russia runs out of artillery shells. And from what has been reported, Ukraine too is getting low on their artillery shells.

Say, whatever happened to that glorious Ukraine Offensive from yesterday?

Why have the official pro-the Ukraine-talking points today stopped bragging about that, and changed the subject to Russia-is-running-out-of-artillery?

And why are none of the talking points about The-Hague-is-Begging-for-a-Special-Exemption-for-Itself-to-disobey-Sanctions-on-Imported-Russian-Natural-Gas?

Isn't that something Hitler said in 1942 BoBo?

Estimates of Russian stocks long before this war began. Much of the Russian arsenal has long been fairly accurately estimated. Most of the weapons used in this war have been those without an issue regarding “shelf life” -and Russian stockpiles have been well-known to be massive. Russia long ago began preparing supplies for a war basically against the world, but particularly NATO. The munitions expended in Ukraine are a drop in the bucket. It really is fairly elementary.

THey haven’t changed their story. The “Russia running out of....” has been circulating for weeks - the first such statement came from the UK- and quickly made rounds from several directions (all pretty copy/paste statements). And all fairly thoroughly debunked.

I doubt that.

Moreover, replenishing weapons going to Ukraine is a Pentagon procurement problem about which the Pentagon does not seem to be concerned at this time.

Continue to pray for Ukraine to regain their freedom as a nation.

They lost their freedom when neocons and US deep state warmongers hijacked the government, using neo-nazis as street-muscle, in the 2014 Maidan coup.

I'm afraid praying for a remedy would have grave effects on our own country.

Dunno about that anymore. They cannot manufacture an native auto and even when it was the Soviet Union much of it was crap.
With the republics gone, now that production is decreased.
The Ukraine would be flattened if it wasn’t for US military hardware.

This is a third world conflict.
