The Wall Street Journal editorial board argued Sunday that former President Trump should be held to the same standards as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
They said that the Department of Justice set a precedent by declining to prosecute Clinton in 2016 for her mishandling of classified emails, and hence, attempting to similarly prosecute Trump would be an unequal application of the law.
"When Jim Comey held his July 2016 press briefing on Hillary Clinton’s emails, his conclusion was this: ‘Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,’" the editors recalled.....
"If Mr. Garland can’t make a compelling case that Mr. Trump’s transgressions are greater than Mrs. Clinton’s, with enough clear and convincing evidence to warrant a criminal charge, the better judgment is not to prosecute and put the country through the trauma of a political trial that half of America will suspect is a case of unequal justice," they concluded.

What a Strawman. One case is an apple, the other an orange (literally).
When the Leftist/RINO cabal got away with stealing the election in 2020, they knew that they could do anything they wanted in the future, and nothing could stop them.
You may have a point, I’ve never see a “SECRET SCI” cover sheet. What is needed is to stamp “DECLASSIFIED ON JAN 18, 2021 PER PRESIDENTIAL ORDER” in large letters over each document.
Another blatant DOJ attempt to smear Trump using irrelevant materials “leaked” to the press. It don’t matter what cover sheets and/or markings are on the documents, President Trump had the unquestioned ability to declassify them as the highest classification authority in the US government. It doesn’t matter who classified them, it doesn’t matter if he did not notify anyone. If he says they are declassified, they are declassified. Period.
Classifcation begins and ends with the POTUS!!! If he says he declassified it it is declassified. No question!!
“The DOJ is poised to show Trump guilty”.
My U.S. Navy Top Secret files didn’t have such fancy covers. But it has been a few decades...
The implication is that Pres Trump “mishandled” documents/whatever and that he did something wrong. I don’t believe that he did.
No it doesn’t have to have that stamped on it. Those papers are for his Library. He deemed them unclassified so they are in fact unclassified! Hitlery did not have this ability!!
I can’t wait to see the video of the scum taking these pictures and hearing what they are saying!!!
Now do Sandy Berger
I suggest the Picture is a FAKE.
Every Government FORM has information on the lower edge which includes NSN (National Stock Number) in left footer area. In right footer area there is the actual Title like “STANDARD FORM 703”, used for TS. Tells who controls the FORM and publication info like “32 CFR 2003”
That info is INSIDE the Yellow or RED borders shown. Someone may want to zoom in to see if this info exists.
I still don’t get it, President Trump can declassify whatever he wanted to as POTUS. Should be end of story.
Interesting that Trump — a president — shouldn’t have had access to those, but lowly FBI criminals had the ultimate clearance to see them…
Not at all comparable, because orange man bad!
The WSJ says they’ll ignore 2000 Mules and counting votes after election day, but raids on political opponents is going too far!
So which documents here are planted?
