Why Democrats fear DeSantis more than Trump
BPR Business and Politics ^ | Steve Hecht

The Mar-a-Lago raid and hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents created by the Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act are part of the same agenda. Democrats, having failed to attain their short-term goals, are arranging to keep their totalitarian agenda alive through Republican congresses and possibly a presidential administration.

The widespread belief that the Biden regime wants to prevent Donald Trump from running for president in 2024 is mistaken. If Trump does not run, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will be our next president. Many people would vote for DeSantis who would not vote for Trump because of Democrats’ and their partners’ seven years of demonizing him. On the other hand, all Trump voters would also vote for DeSantis because he has proved himself in Florida, and their policies are essentially the same.

This is wishful thinking that I would categorize as the McRomBush faction wanting to de-solidify the GOP. DT should be the president right now. He was the clear favorite of all the American voters. Rectification of voter fraud should be everyone’s top priority, not drafting and re-drafting “reasons we should dump Trumpy and jump on the Desantis train.” No.

***

Sorry for re-post, but: Whosoever may read this post - Governor Desantis had to cancel a fundraiser and the reason given was an “unforeseen tragedy.” I tried to research this but just found a bunch of dumb liberals wishing death on him.

Does anybody know what happened?

Democrat/Communists indeed fear DeSantis, but they hate Trump. And because everything a Democrat/Communist does in pursuit of their primary (in most cases, their only) purpose in life -- that is, unconditional power and control over others -- is emotionally-based, hatred Trumps all.

“DeSantis can run in 28”

If we don’t win in 2024, the country will be too far gone to recovering 2028. We must win in 2024.

Does DeSantis have the cojones to run? After seeing that the Washington DC Deep State is still set on destroying Trump and his family via lawfare. Even after Trump has left the Presidency.

Will DeSantis’ wife let him run? -—— To be determined.

If that’s true, he should expect to be banned from all social media platforms, an audit from the IRS, and a visit from armed thugs from the FBI that will have a search warrant. It’s just the way things are these days.

” Many people would vote for DeSantis who would not vote for Trump”

Horseshiite

Who? The McMullin set? JEB!’s posse? Wealthy/White/Suburban/Females?
Keep pushing this crap. It’s gonna go nowhere.

If that’s the case, just wait til he’s on the ballott. They’ll just come up with some other reason. It’s really because they don’t back MAGA.

It’s for our PDJT, the GOAT, if he wants it.
If not? then and only then we go DeSantis.

As soon as the left determines that De Santis is a threat to their stranglehold on power, they will text the whores that they have in waiting, telling them to release their prepared story to the media, accusing De Santis of rape 49 years ago and that he pulled a dog’s ears while saying the “N-word.”

Amen!

“I see this as a false front. This is “Please don’t throw me in the briar patch”. Democrats, you see, are noting that Republicans should abandon Trump and support DeSantis because, you see, DeSantis is much more awesome.

I have no problem with DeSantis, but I will vote Trump in 2024, even if I have to write it in.”

Those who have NO access to DeSantis, and thus, no access to Trump. DeSantis and Trump are working... together. The dems properly confused as are the remaining mconnellites and chi-com downline RINOs.

Any... ANY Bushie you could name would be trying to appear to push DeSantis, as it is quite clear DeSantis does not support them, and this is the only way they can create a schism with Trump. They don’t support DeSantis anymore than DeSantis would “support” the JEB! mentored Charlie (polesmoker) Crist against himself in FL gubernatorial.

The Republican Party is not in their control to provide a nominated loser— unless one thinks their goal is Mike Pence at a contested GOP convention— these pissant RINOS and neocons think this? Pence- A political comma or is that colon (:) or semi-colon of history (;)- created by Pelosi, set up by her to preside over what he KNEW was not a required quorum present, and who bumped elbows with Pelosi after the farce was completed. The RINOs love him, like they love Karl Rove.

If we allow them to destroy Trump, there will be no R party left. They will go after whoever is at the top, because they can.

Desantis does have less baggage such as covid measures and more discipline.

Remember that Trump's COVID measures were based on deliberately bad "medical" advice from people he considered highly qualified.

I think it would be wrong to put all Democrats into the same box when it comes to how they think about Trump. There are certainly a large number of them who have a very visceral hatred for him, and want to do anything possible to destroy him and to keep him from running for President in 2024. While you can argue that these raids gave him a boost in the polls, those same Democrats also are convinced that this is the time he will be taken down. So they don't view the momentary blip in the polls as mattering because they don't think he'll be running anyway. But if he does, most of this group is terrified that he might actually win.

On the other hand, you have other Democrats who think more strategically, and believe that Trump is the one Republican candidate who can get the Democrats independent votes regardless of how badly the country is screwed up. Those Democrats would prefer to see Trump as the nominee because they believe they can beat him in 2024. Whether that is correct or not, that's how they think.

I personally believe that the Republicans greatest chance to win in 2024 is if Trump does not run, and voluntarily passes the torch to DeSantis. As the writer notes, under those circumstances, the Santos would start off with a base of all of Trump's support, Plus have a much greater chance to get the support of independence.

But that's just opinion, and I'm sure there are others who feel differently.

“The Beltway fears Trump more than anything. He knows and has direct evidence of what they have been up to”.

I don’t know why they fear him. No one will be able to do anything to stop the corruption or even begin to fix a totally broken system.

You’ve got it wrong. Plenty of solid conservatives prefer DeSantis to Trump. You get the the same policies (or better) without the daily circus - some brought on by Trump himself.

Flame away!
