I think it's being worked out now behind the scenes that De Santis will get the nod for the GOP's presidential candidate.Horse sh!t. DeSantos wil be crushed if Trump doesn't first clear the path for him in '24. Desantis MAY be ready in '28.

If Trump chooses to not run, then DeSantis will fly in and be a hero. If Trump chooses to run, and DeSantis decides to run against him (which I doubt very much he would), then DeSantis causes such upheaval and bitter feelings, it would devastate the right. DeSantis would be seen as a traitor and most of the base would be furious.
