Former HBO Max executives say the streaming service has been left with few people of color to oversee its diverse slate of programming as Warner Bros. Discovery continues its ongoing corporate reshuffling.
"What are they going to do with this disproportionate amount of people of color that were let go? They need to replace them in some capacity. Or do they not care? That’s what we’ve been told, that they just don’t care.”

The sustainability of diversity hiring is not a practical and long lasting business plan. A company needs to go off of skill qualifications, and content of character if they want to turn a profit.

It sounds like some people at discovery have realized that most of us don’t pay for diversity. We don’t pay to be lectured or beaten over the head with our “privilege.”
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but we get plenty of “diversity” in the commercials. And then some.
Bet the HBO execs are drooling over the money rolling in from “Top Gun Maverick”. The lack of “wokeness” in that film had main stream America flocking to the movies. They want a piece of that.....
Warner Bros has discovered what Intel discovered 4 years ago.
Diversity hiring only gives you under qualified employees and and exodus of experienced workers.
Hopefully Pat Gelsinger can fix the mess that Obama helped create.
