The Republican group Winning for Women Action Fund rolled out a six-figure digital ad buy on Thursday hitting incumbent Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) over the issue of crime and boosting Murray’s GOP opponent, Tiffany Smiley.
The ad accuses Murray of being “out of touch” and of “turning her back on law enforcement.” Additionally, the buy includes a website called wokepattymurray.com, which also targets her on the issue.
It will likely be an uphill battle for Smiley and the GOP. The nonpartisan Cook Political Report rates the race as “solid Democratic,” and polls show Murray leading by double digits.

The iconic Senator from Washington, the great and intelligent Patty Murray, is leading in the polls, far ahead of Ms. Smiley.
With the kind of healthcare and dental that WE provide those people you would think she would get those teeth fixed.

The moldy brains of the soggy foggy coast think Patty Murray is just a fine figure of a woman. Doubt they will wake up from their woke state any time soon.
But but but I remember some GOP “experts” questioning whether are going to “blow” the mid-terms.
I guess this group must have raised the money and decided to spend it anyway since that is easier and cheaper than giving back - yeah that must be it.
It’s a nice (albeit totally quixotic) idea but I’m not sure a “six figure” ad buy is going to amount to anything more than a drop in the bucket when the incumbent hag has over $4 million MORE cash on hand than Smiley does.
If this buy frees up NRSC cash to be used elsewhere, where it’s desperately needed (NC, WI, GA, probably still OH) then that’s another benefit.
If the election were decided by looks, Smiley would obviously win by about 99% to 1%. But it’s not, and the election is still highly likely to be a landslide.
Polls show double digit leads everywhere for Democrats. That’s what polling is. Doesn’t matter how heavy the party lean is.
Murray has has 30 years of seniority. No state gives that up without a fight no matter who holds the office.
Patty “osama mamma” Murray needs to lose reelection, but unfortunately the demshevik cheat machine is too great to overcome.

Morning Consult has reported five years’ worth of data from over 8.6 million participants that shows a trend of America’s registered voters moving steadily to the ideological right.
“The left is losing the battle for the minds of the American electorate, Morning Consult research shows, with voters decreasingly identifying as liberal in recent years,” writes Morning Consult political reporter Eli Yokley. “But that doesn’t mean the country is lurching to the right.”
Yokley then makes an effort to pretend the trend isn’t what it looks like: “Instead, an increase in the share of Americans who identify as moderate, or who are uncertain about where exactly they stand on the ideological spectrum, reveals a growing and electorally decisive center that is discontented with either side’s extremes.”
Except that the percentage of voters who identify as conservative actually increased slightly, while only those who call themselves liberal decreased. Call me crazy but that just sounds like Democrats are turning away from far-left ideology to become more moderate:
The share of the electorate who identifies as “very liberal,” “liberal” or “somewhat liberal” on a seven-point scale has dropped over the past five years, from 34% to 27%, according to extensive annual Morning Consult survey research conducted among more than 8.6 million U.S. voters since 2017.
Meanwhile, “Even as Democratic voters drift toward the middle, the data shows that the Republican Party’s adherents are shifting further to the right — and it’s happening quickly,” writes Yokley.
Or to put it another way, the whole country is moving in a rightward direction.
This trend is concurrent with the largest group of people consistently falling into the conservative camp — 39% in 2022, from 38% in 2017. Meanwhile, the liberal cohort has shrunk from a high of 34% in 2017 to a mere 27% as of now.

I used to FLY SEA to DUL on Monday mornings. Many of of Washington states congressional delegation were on it, including Patsy Murphy.
In person she was more homely than on TV and her teeth were yellow and gunky looking.
To paraphrase the classic comedian Henny Young man- "Everybody has a right to be homely. She ABUSES the privilege!"
