“Swatting” is commonly defined as “the action of making a false report of a serious emergency so that a SWAT team (= a group of officers trained to deal with dangerous situations) will go to a person’s home, by someone who wants to frighten, upset, or cause problems for that person”. The act usually involves heavily armed police.
The act of “swatting” has been applied to a number of anti-establishment figures in recent months, with former Trump advisor Stephen K. Bannon being swatted at his Capitol Hill townhouse, and YouTuber Tim Pool experiencing the same several times over in the past year, sometimes while live on air.

There are still pay phones out there. Few but out there.
Its been a quite common form of harrassment over the last 20 years. Stacey McCain has been swatted several times by a fanatical leftist. Tim Pools home/studio has been swatted several times this year, at least twice when his podcast was running, guests and all.
Stacey McCain was one of those repeatedly victimized by Kimberlin.

There is some chance the FBI made the call hoping that the FBI would be called in for the raid. But in the end a local cop showed up and acted in a gentlemanly manner. Not what the FBI hoped for at all.
I keep getting the “Grandma- I am in jail & I need bail money” calls.
Always Hispanic sounding voices—mostly male- but some female.
MY responses are getting more & more nasty.
Several years ago my fumble-fingered wife tried to call my old cell phone, but mistakenly called 911. She just thought she’d got a wrong number, apologized and hung up. A few minutes later two police officers showed up and gave both of us the third degree for about 20 minutes. They thought I was abusing her and probably weren’t amused by our “deer in the headlights” response. That was not a good feeling to realize I was only seconds away from being slammed to the floor and hauled to the pokey. Quite a price to pay for a butt dial.
Mostly because they served as the OFFICE phones for drug dealers working the streets.

Every time this happens to a Republican, one prominent Democrat (politician, judge, celebutard, whatever) should be lynched.
That should make the problem stop, but it would be even more beneficial in the long run if they kept it up.
