Army members have been told that they "must be prepared" for the possibility of being deployed to Ukraine to fight in the war against Russia.
Warrant Officer Paul Carney issued the warning six months on from Vladimir Putin's invasion of the country in February, saying that British troops “must be prepared for new realities” as the UK military was now “shaping itself to meet the threat from Russia”.
WO1 Carney, the Army’s highest-ranking Warrant Officer, instructed soldiers to check that they were physically fit enough for operations, as well as taking the time to have conversations with family members, The Mirror reports . WO1 Carney wrote in Soldier magazine: “It is also important we prepare loved ones and families, who often have the hardest role in our absence.

This seems like it would be a tough sell to the average Brit.
Wait till Brits receive the $6,000 heating bills this winter.
At least they’re giving them a heads up - here they get the news they’re being deployed.
Can’t help wonder what is driving this. Methinks the Global Elites don’t like the way Putin is thumbing his nose at them and are determined to bring Russia in line at all costs.
Soros, Schwab & Satan. Every Ukrainian is expendable. Now every Brit will be expendable. We are next.
August Fool’s Day?
There’s this thing called NATO and they’re supposed to be prepared to fight Russia.
I believe Russia just listed targets it would attack in Britain.
Therfore you tell your soldiers to be prepared for a war.
And screw Russia.
Da phuck to that.
Brit soldiers ought to have learned that wwi and wwii entanglements are not something to die for.
I’d tell the officers they can go over there.
Defending YOUR country is what you signed up for. Not being pawns in some exercise again to decimate the white male population.
They told their soldiers to be physically fit enough for deployment.
We have a problem with that?
I think some people here just like to complain.
A Sarmat-28 ICBM will warm things up a bit if the Brits get cold.
Only drawback is a bit of radiation followed by a nuclear winter.
Ukraine isn’t worth that. Not even worth a conventional war.
You’re so out of it you don’t believe the British should have fought Hitler in WW2?
What the hell kind of nuttiness do we have here?
are you really that ignorant?
There has been no suggestion of UK forces putting boots on the ground. In March, prime minister Boris Johnson said he wanted to make it "crystal clear" that "we will not fight Russian forces in Ukraine" and that he would keep troops within the boundaries of Nato countries to prevent the crisis escalating even further.
Army members have been told that they “must be prepared” for the possibility of being deployed to Ukraine to fight in the war against Russia.
We were told Ukraine was winning. Why is this nessesary?
Just to be clear,
Not worth responding to.
Unless I misunderstood, did you not say they should have learned ww1 and ww2 were not worth it?
So, which will hit Pensacola Naval Air Station first? A labor day hurricane (see NWS GFS model) OR a thermonuclear warhead? Either way, I’m in the crosshairs, bois and girls.
